Beat Mass Effect 3 a second time (often referred to as playing a New Game+) and you will unlock a secret ending.

Even if NG+ is the ending everyone wants, people will still complain they must do 2 runs to get it =P
And end up not believing what just happened

Some random person claiming that such an ending exists does not constitute proof.
In any case, after beating the game in 14h I can assure you that I will ditch ME3 in favour of MW3 and won't be doing a NG+ any time soon so this question is really completely academic.
actually it DOES exist but you need full and i mean full paragon or renagade to get it and no it doesnt come from the readiness but it helps but you can have over 7k war assets my first play thru had 7495 WA and almost topped out bar fora pargon and i still couldnt get it, i got all three of the semi good endings but you definatly need to go thru another play thru to get the perfect ending where your shep will live.
and i wont say why you need it but the three ending are infact the endings with only a twist if you can get the full par/rengade rep that you need to make it to the perfect ending , i didint get but next play thru i should get it this time i took the paragon ending control

Well.... with the ending being that way, can you really bring yourself to fight for Shepard? In MP that is?

what does NG+ mean?
New game plus
Once you beat the game, you have the option under "new game" to import your ME3 Shepard. You retain war assets and weapons or something like that, im not really sure. Basically, if you beat the game a second time there is supposedly a different ending haha.
War assets are NOT retained. I played NG+ right up to the moment when I was able to check the war terminal. And stopped afterwards, because what's the point?

I didn't get to keep my war assets. They reset to 0.

New Game Plus.
Allowing you to start a new game with all the unlocked gear/weapons/items/upgrades from previous playthroughs. It's an extremely rare concept that only pops up every once in a while in games....and usually ****ed up somehow (like ME2).
It is getting more and more common, though.... which imo is kinda atrocious. All it does is allowing you to level your char more, and if I wanted that I'd be subscribin to WoW.

but on this site they are talking about something AFTER the grandpa talk:
but i didn't get anything... so... i think it's just a little hoaxTo get the “Perfect” Ending in Mass Effect 3, play the game with the New
Game+ option or with an imported character from ME2, with an achieved
4000+ EMS rating and choose the Red, or Renegade Option. With 4000+ EMS
you must rescue Anderson from the Illusive Man’s execution. With 5000+
EMS, you can rescue Anderson or let him die. This ending comes after a
short post-credits conversation between a man and child.

Really?
Way more sick of MW3.
* Flashangs that last a year, and then are barely nerfed by Blast Shield Pro, to the point that it's basically a useless perk. Black Ops had it right.
* Quickscoping.
* FMG9 akimbo, even after allegedly being nerfed, no other weapons are required. Or even useful.
* Still getting sniped at range by guys with the Striker.
* And while this is an MW problem and not an MW3 specific one, completely sick of a guy brining a knife to a gunfight and the knife winning 90% of the time.
Now, that's a busted game.

I replied to a comment,
Stop pouting because no one's responding to you.
The criteria required for the "perfect" ending is all over this site.
