 As the title suggests, I insertered the second disk when promped to access the first N7 mission, but was dismayed by the sight of that lovely xbox warning that it cannot be read.  This was the first time I even touched the second disk, and i noticed there was a very slight "film" aroudn the edges of the disk.  

I know very well that there are ways to work around or fix this, but i have as of yet failed. I have polished it with  a lens cleaning kit, but do not know what else to do.

Is there any reliable way you guys can think of?  Oh and if all else fails, is there a support forum (EA?) that I can go to to try to aquire a new copy if all else fails.


Moderator support would be very appricated, I hope I can fix this soon.

there was some sort of stain on my second disc when i first took it out and i had to clean it off. works fine now though. good luck with moderator support they pulled a houdini on everyone to avoid answering questions about face import problems and such. i would'nt do anything to the disk so they cant say you messed it up and call ea customer support for a replacement.

I have a similar issue. Right as I got to the first mission, i put in the disk, it acted like it started loading but it never would finish. I tried to install it but it would always get stuck at 42% and say that It failed. Then i tried just resuming the game off of the second disk. It would go to menu and everything, but once I tried to "Resume Game" it would infinitely load again. I left it trying to load for 30 minutes.

I ended up getting really agitated and began to vigorously try and clean the disk. After about my third time trying to clean this brand new disk it worked. I was able to fully install the game and play it. Just like robertm2 I had some sort of cloud or stain on the disk, I wasn't able to fully get rid of it, but that didn't stop my from trying.

i have the same problem i put the first disk i try to install the game it get stuck 70 percent
and started to play without installing it when i get to the first time to the citadel go to the hospital
when i was going to the elevator an loading appear freezes and my disk stop reading.

Mine happens on the first disc checked and there are no defects on the disc. The second one loads no problem but as soon as i try put in Disc 1 i get either xbox saying it is unreadable or it just asks me to reinsert the disc. bought the game brand new less than 2 hours ago game straight home put the game in to find out it isn't working.

lame lame idea to put n7 misions only on disc 2, stupidest idea ever.
