[Insane 1]

I've had about 3 or 4 crashes playing during campaign and from the couple multiplayer games, 1, where I have to press the off/on button and have to send diagnostic reports via PS3.

Just giving heads up.

This happens to me as well. I can't get past the part on mars, because it keeps crashing at the same exact spot. In ten hours I've only been able to play an hour and a half. It's bumming me out and frankly making me pretty irritated.

I just had a multiplayer game freeze and now I'm waiting for my PS3 to check for file corruption.

crashed at the end of the mars mission during the cutscene when yer picking up ashley and carrying her to the shuttle... (my ps3 is only a few months old)
Cmon bioware... i got a console version instead of a the PC version for this exact reason cause i got fed up with me2 crashing uncontrollably for me on the PC... so i was like screw it i'll get a console version because i just know it will crash like crazy on PC... and walaaa. Console doing the same thing

Froze up transitioning to a squad selection screen just before the Mars mission, but haven't had any probs since. My PS3 has frozen quite a bit in the past few weeks playing ME2 though.

I just keep getting the black screen on the citadel causing me to do a hard reset. That jazz can possibly corrupt the hard drive so naturally im concerned. Been up and down these forums and havent found anything stating bioware is investigating this issue one can hope though

I have a brand new PS3 (bought it yesterday) and it freezes everywhere like you mentioned. This is absolutely unacceptable.

It freezes on SP often for me and on MP it always freezes in extration wave. Hopefully someone will address this and will look into it. It's a hassle for MP mostly but for SP atleast it auto saves often.

single player and multi are terrible for me on ps3. its not every match, but at least once a day the game will lag for no apparent reason and won't stop. if i try to wait it out it just gets worse until i'm disconnected from the online server or i give up and turn my ps3 off.

the main menu always runs fine if i manage to back out of the game, but in-game lag is intolerable, unpredictable, and too frequent for me to ignore.

WIth ME2 we needed to disconnect for the network , not connect to EA servers that helped with some of the issues then, not sure if related. Naturally you can't play MP this way, and in ME2 it did not matter.
