Remember when they first introduced batarians and the codex had some weird face? Then they changed their appearance with the DLC and it was an improvement.
I don't mind if they "patch" it later, so long as it looks half-decent.
Tali's picture on the Normandy is a stock photo. (Laziness at it's peak)

Its been so long since ME I forgot about that. Then again I didnt really read the codex much/at all so I could have just missed that.
I won't hold my breath though...

tonite's best comment (not mine)
Let me tell you Bioflop's response since they are so disgustingly predictable: D-don't worry guys, it's just a placeholder texture! The real one is going to come out in our next DLC pack.
My response: Why the **** did you buy the right to and manipulate a stock photograph just to use it as a placeholder texture? Why do you need a placeholder texture for that framed picture? Why is there a placeholder texture in the release version?

On the plus side, now we can get all kinds of realistic fanart featuring the in-game model.

Is there even room for all that hair under that suit?
I always figured quarians had really short hair or were just plain bald.

@ Bioware
How cheap and lazy can you get? The picture wasn't that good to begin with, but this is just a punch in the face for all the loyal fans.

It's disappointing that they couldn't put any real effort into this.

they could have paid for any of the fan art and people would have loved it. A badly photoshopped image of some middle eastern girl with 2 extra joints on a 3 digit hand...seriously?

I am not anger but extremely disapointed. I was worried with antisipation about tali's face.
Mind you it is not a Bad pick, just lazy the they did not really try and this was done as an after thought, and not really planed out. And that most of the fan art, great fan art I might add, may not have even looked at or consisted as opinion.
I would also like to hear the voice actress opinion on Tali's face.
All I have to say is: "Bioware you could have done better."

Has anyone already remarked on the end sequence and its similarity to the Cybran end sequence from Supreme Commander?
I had the vaque impression of familiarity, but it took me to find this to remember where the deja vu came from:

I think they just shouldn't try to show it at all. It's normal for fictional universes to have at least one mysterious masked character like Hatake Kakashi, Master Chief, Phantom of opera, Spawn, Dahaka and Amon, who are cool and interesting exacly because of their masks, which don't need to be taken off, so they weren't. Well, exept last one, whose unmasking also was a fail. I think Bioware designers never intented to unmask her, and the only reason, why they did it, is their 'fanservice", which is a great thing. But not when it's done too quickly with so low budged, just to make fans quiet. What didn't happen. So, if we will look at biowares "jokes" like on something inevitable, we'll be forced to accept the fact, that this happened only because we asked for it.
