Any one telling her to stay in labs don't know her character... She would hate it there she belongs on the Normandy.

She out and out tells you she'd rather be on the Normandy, the first time you tell her she should be in the labs, in that conversation.

True, I only did it for the war asset gain, but regretted it after finding out it was only worth like 10 points.
(I didn't find out the amount until after playing a couple more hours & didn't want to replay them)
