Would definitely prefer film grain. Was disappointed to see that it was missing from the graphics options.

I think they had to remove film grain in order to add in anti aliasing, I could be wrong, but thats what I read somewhere. I think the ending would have been a lot better with Film Grain.

Maybe if we donate a lot of money to charity Bioware will give us film grain.

It did a better job of hiding low poly models then AA does.

I've got a 6 core 3.4 ghz processor and I want film grain. I still remember mass effect one - got my copy a few weeks after it came out, buddy of mine said "Hey, whatever you do, make sure film grain is on it looks AWESOME."  I happened to agree lol.

They so totally put it back in, even if it's just for nostalgic reasons.

I loved the film grain and would absolutely support bringing it back to ME3 for a future playthrough! :D

Yah, the better your machine, the worse the game looks. I got a new rig just for Skyrim, and i got the demo for ME3, all the totals were just awful. You can count the the intersections on Shepard's head with full AA. The grain would at least blur them...

I don't even bother changing the graphic settings anymore
After SWTOR engine fiasco, I just set my nvidia config to "perfomance mode" and leave the games on auto-detect

Man the film grain effect was the first thing I changed (turned off) in the first Mass Effect games options. It looks awful. But I support it being an option for those of you who liked it.

I know this is an old thread but I don't wish to start a new one so please forgive me.

I also miss the film grain. I thought it (especially in ME2) looked much better with the option on. I think it would also add the the gritty nature of ME3 atmosphere. Was sad it was taken out :(

Check out the modding thread(s). There is a mod that will add film grain.

Not going to be much help for the console versions, unfortunately.

I also completely support bringing back the Film Grain effect, everything looks too 'clean' without it.
