The seconed terminal in the mission citadel: hanar diplomats cant be selected. The door behind it highlights but there is nothing to select.

I have that same problem. It is driving me crazy and the war asset reward for it is very good. I really want to finish this quest. I hope a dev will answer if a fix for this will happen soon.
I am enjoying this game a lot, but I have been encountering glitches and bug more than I think i should.

im having the same issue. the second terminal is there the map tells me its there but it wont let me click on it.... i tried doing a mission then coming back. no Dice

I had this on my first game save. Started a brand new game and still the same thing.
There's plenty of other bugs I've found. I'm not impressed, BioWare.

I have found the solution to this problem.
You I must have deactivated the quest, but if you go to the specter station you can reactivate the quest by going to console and pressing X or whatever to "activate" it.
Edit: nevermind, i thought that woudl fix it but it just goes back after i change areas.

On the 360, for whatever reason the map wasn't being updated with the locations of the terminals as you moved through each stage of the mission. I don't know if that is a bug, or works as intended.

You know, I've had that happen a few times and not just with this quest - the map/journal/dialogue prompt lags. Like after I dealt with the Eclipse guy, making the Salarian the new leader, I was back on the elevator headed back to the Normandy before Bailey came on to tell me the council recinded their order to free whatever her name was. And about three seconds after that, I got the pop up about the war asset and the monetary reward for completing the quest.

I really would like to know if anyone has finished this mission on the 360. I am feeling frustrated because I really like the story to this side mission and I want to finish it.

I finished the mission. At one point I could not find the next terminal, but leaving the area and coming back fixed it. I did a Citadel tour and looked at the map.
I get that the new quest helpers on the map (and, like, having a map for every level with NPCs marked on it) removes some of the need for the "hold your hand for quests" Journal of ME1 and ME2, but the sheer amount of ME3 quests makes me miss the journal updating.

however note that leaving/going back, switching phases by progressing the story a little, restarting the game, uninstalling/reinstalling to hard drive, nothing has fixed this issue.

Same here regarding not even being able to use the first terminal. Hopefully a patch will come soon to nail this down as I would hate to have to restart my ME3 Adept Shep.

Also be warned. After a certain point in the story you will no longer be able to access the mission. So if you want to get this done on your current playthrough wait for a bugfix.

I wont wait for a bug fix.. based on previous games, it can take well over a month for a small 4mb patch which may not fix the problem. Xbox live only allows small patches to be released for games, leaving issues requiring bigger patches to remain. ME2 still has some bugs that were never fixed.

Same here, but I got to the first terminal, I can't interact with the second or third ones. Kind of annoying because I'd like to get the assets, hopefully they can fix it. Or someone finds a way to get around it.

I have the same issue on the 360. Seems like a problem that would of been fixed during beta / pre-launch testing. Seems with all the small issues that have been poping up, that maybe they were in too much of a hurry to polish it up before release. I too also miss the old quest log format, this new one has us at a disadvantage when the first quest leads to a follow up one, Oh well, it is what it is....

I'm having the same issue: second terminal won't work so I can't continue the mission. I haven't tried using an earlier save yet... but I've heard that has only mixed results. COME ON BIOWARE, HELP US OUT PLEASE!

No terminals work for me, there are also no markers. Only the map tells me a terminal is there.

Have been finding bugs than annoy the hell out of me, you think that someone would have found this error if they tested the game. This is why you need a team of gametesters that work around the clock, AND test the full game several times over.
Now it's possible that this is caused by importing, but unless people start posting their info we won't figure this out (note that the forum is for self-help, mods/devs won't help you here)

Just started game new, no imports, and finished the quest just fine. Started doing it as soon as I received it, didn't do any side trekkIng.

I just did a new game with no imports because i didn't want the automatic decisions they made for me since i didnt have an ME1 save import, and i watched a walkthrough the first terminal glitched for me, no matter what map I was on it would still show that terminal as being needed. I wonder if i left before hearing the conversation and it bugged it.

Terminal 1: Selected, however the conversation was interrupted after I also clicked on the Volus NPC nearby. The quest then ceased to continue. I am too far into the game (about 6 hours past it) to load a previous save now.
