For those having an Issue with downloading the ME3 Soundtrack I have a solution!

Okay today I recent went into this link here: https://help.ea.com/...ct-3-soundtrack for when I was having an issue with registering the game for PS3 and getting the sound track. I then click on the TALK TO A GAME ADVISOR: Level up your Experience box. From there I filled out the questions describing my issue. It then gives you three options from Calling Me, Live Chat, or Email.  For the registration bit I did the call me bit which they called in about 10 mins after. For the soundtrack bit I waited in the Live Chat for 20 minutes. 

I was given permission to post the chat with EA advisor:

Granted the soundtrack did show up on Xbox 360 for me on my registration list but that may be due to the fact that my gamertag for both PS3 and Xbox 360 is GENGENJUMP. I can now download the track from my registered game content list. I hope this helps everyone.

Okay to answer a question that is popping up the EA Advisor from what I can tell just did their little magic to add/allow my account to download the soundtrack. I don't know exactly what they did. I am just saying here that I all I did was talk to an advisor and they fixed the issue.

When I called, they didn't add me to anything. They said the issue was widespread, and that they were working on a solution, then added me to an email list. Still not confident they will actually email me with a solution. Experiences with EA support is extremely hit or miss.

When I contacted them via that web chat, I was quickly told I had to contact Gamestop and that it was their problem. Then I called, EA/Origin has me as having the CE, Bioware Social Network does not.

I guess it really depends on the advisor or who get at the moment. I am just letting peeps know that there is a work around. It may work and it may not work however, it worked for me.

i can confirm that if you use the web chat support you will get the soundtrack. The guy that helped me asked for my email and then i waited a bit and it was done.

I talked to them online... Got disconnected from the first one.. and then got a second one that made me want to shoot myself.

Here's my response:

Ashok:Do you have Collector's Edition?
you:yes
Ashok:Then you can download the soundtrack.
you:I should be able to, yes. But I get this when i try, "You don't seem to be a registered owner of the Collector's Edition or Digital Deluxe version of Mass Effect 3. If you feel this to be in error, please try the following."
you:But I do have the Collector's Edition.
Ashok:If you have collection's edition then you cannot get this message.
you:That is the issue!


Then i was just repeatively told "Please purchase the collector's edition."

Worst customer support I've ever had.

Just explain what your problem is to the guy in the most simple way possible. However I must say that I was never asked where i bought my copy of the game, not that it would have helped because I'm from Chile and I just bought it from a local gamestore here.

 Yeah so far my experience with EA support has been great for the most part. (Shocking I know saying that about EA)

They told me the Collector's Edition was only available for PC and I didn't own it... But I do own it for the PS3! I may never get my soundtrack...

And I was being so civil! The person just left me after saying CE was only available for PC!

Edit: Mine has finally been unlocked! I think the site is just being really slow. And now I have to re-download my patches and DLCs... Why did listen to that advisor dude? I should have checked before following that instruction...

I have registered my game and when I try to download, all I get is a message saying "No download found."

Anyone that has this problem, and you talk to Customer Support. Just send them the link to this thread. That should be all that's needed.

I get the same problem.

But here's the thing. The PSN id that I chose as default for my EA persona is Pyramid-HACK

Pyramid-HACK is an alt I use for PSN cards. I buy them at Gamestop and my main account which is PyramidHACK (without the dash) is registered to Mexico. When I try to redeem PSN cards on PyramidHACK, they never work. I guess that they are probably region-locked because when i redeem a PSN card on Pyramid-HACK it always works.


What I mean with all of this is that.. could that be the problem?. I registered my BSN account to darkzims321@..., but Pyramid-HACK is registered to demigod225@...

I made a thread on the EA servers asking if there's any way to change my registered PSN id Persona.



PS The promo code I got from Gamestop from the pre-order that gives you the valkyrie, argus and stuff, is ALSO region locked. OH, and not only THAT, but you can't trade it form one account to the other. What do I mean by this?. It's automatically installed, so if you want to use it on another account, you're screwed.

OK, I got mine to download. I think it was due to a full server. Kinda like how a product gets sold out within the first few days after its release.

honestly... I just torrented it. I own the Collectors edition and was severely peeved that this is broken.

Yeah I'm having the same problem. I've registered the PS3 game with this account...no download link for the soundtrack though. Someone said that the problem was if you have your Bioware has the same name as your Origin account. Anyone know how to change the name on your Bioware account because I can't see how to do it? I've checked Edit Profile Information etc.

So far I don't have the link to download either, the ashes dlc shows up now on my account, and I added that via ps3 so it has to know that I have the CE version and using e correct account on here and my ps3, they have to linked correctly otherwise how would my registered game content show ashes.

I think all these issues started when EA switched to origins ???

Does it link the psn account tag or the email address you setup on ps3 account on psn? My email address here on bioware is different then the one I use on my ps3 account.

Not sure. They should've just chucked a CD with the soundtrack in the pack instead of having to go through all this crap. ;)
