Does anybody get annoyed by this sometimes how quickly the meter fills up? I like it, adds a lot of fun to the scanning but other than that it does get annoying.

Also how do you get rid of it?

It empties for any systems its filled in if you go do a mission. When you come back, the bar will be empty again.

But yeah, sometimes it really does seem to fill up too quickly.

Trying to find the right mix of scanning and how to approach this. Toss in the limited fuel and it feels like you will have to make repeated dives into each system to try and finish because either the bad guys show up or you need to go put $20 in the tank.

Wish they'd marked the "scanned"areas from trip to trip so I'm not coming back and searching the same areas again. Also, an arc instead of a circle might have been nice to it was even but that is just my OCD talking,

Yea, I've been to Exodus cluster, Asgard system 7 times now because I can't scan more than twice before reapers come after me. I haven't even found 1 of the assets scanning there yet. Getting really frustrating.

It is easy to evade the reapers and finish the scanning even when they attack. Just exit the system and immediately return, they will have reset to the edges of the system.

It's pretty bad on the PC. You have to let go of driving it and rush for the land/investigate/whatever button. I wish they'd just given us a keyboard button for that.

Really? I am thinking my game is bugged then, because when I try that they are all still where they were, or they are all grouped up in the center of the system. How annoying.

I have been able to scan a planet really quick before they get to me, but usually I can't scan more than twice before they come after me, and I don't even find any assests to check before that happens TO scan.

I do like the idea and like having to run from the Reapers, I just wish they did not react so instantly and I could get off a few more scans before they showed up.

I assumed it was instadeath if the Reapers showed up. Learning you could run from them now I just go into the system, spam the scanner as fast as possible and then leave the system and immediately come right back to get anything because they reset to the edges and do not close on you while in orbit.  More annoying than hard now.
