I know there have been a few reports of crashes on this mission and I do as well but in a different place. It is after the cutscene where Shepard sees the reaper attack and they talk about going into stasis. As soon as it ends and the game gives me control back to continue on, it crashes. Mass Effect 3 has stopped working etc.
Any work arounds discovered yet? Patches incoming? Thanks.

Same here. I've repeatedly tried to update and repair, but it always crashes. How long until we can expect a patch? Does anybody know?

Its been freezing for me as well. tried doing the other pod data first like Peter5ol mentioned and that seems to have worked for me.

SO tried the trick with going to the other data modules first and it has worked!

I was going to try the other modules thing first, but since I didn't notice that I had my quicksave inside the room (the door locks behind you when you're in) when I wrote my previous post, I decided to give it another try, and see if it crashed anyway. But instead of just going through the dialogue again, I skipped the sequences (spacebar), and the moment I saw I was getting character control back, I brought up the menu (escape), waited a minute, then closed the menu, and there it was, it didn't crash.
I'm not sure if it would have worked without that, but I didn't stick around to find out, and so I finished the mission. It's the only crash I've had so far, just finished the salarian world mission (the one in the demo), and game goes fine.
Cheers

Happened here too. Solution is to go to menu (like previous poster said), right after cut-scene (just keep pressing escape), then go back and you should be fine.
Also noticed something, this did not happen on my first play of ME3. During first play I did missions in a different order (i did eden prime mission way late into the game).

Did you try the recommended solution? Mashing the escape/pause key after the cutscene should help 90% of the time.
