Anyone know an quick, easy, and high quality way to trans-code the *.wav files to *.mp3? I would use audacity, but if a better way exists I would like to know

i prefer .wav or .flac than mp3. I am really glad that Bioware give high quality content because almost every other developer give soundtrack in mp3 format.
For those who want mp3, use Audiograbber or any other free to use converter. There is a lot of them, just google it.

Because they sound way better (with high end equipment), and if you want them in MP3 format there are literally hundreds of applications that can do this for you, most of them free, in a matter of minutes. :)

If you use iTunes you can go to preferences and convert them to mp3. It is faster and easier than downloading random programs. Also if you want to maintain the high quality you can encode it to Apple Lossless like I did and most of the tracks range from 600kbps-1000kbps and the sample rate stays at 48 khz.
