@Jesse.Reid I read the instructions on the link you posted. It says that you can't merge SWTOR accounts yet, because it will break the account. Do we have an ETA about when that is possible? I'm one of those people that have all my Origin games on my normal Origin account and SWTOR on another.

My character name when I open the multiplayer in ME3 and my name here is the same, so I'm guessing it must be the right account. However, I have an active SWTOR account, is that causing the problems?

This is so annoying.

Thanks for the reply, Jesse.Reid.

So, what is the answer for all the poor souls out there with SWTOR on one of their Origin accounts, which I'm guessing, is alot of people?

I'll PM you my details, and see if you can provide any additional info. Again, thanks for taking the time to respond.

if you can help me out with this as well that would be awesome, i registered where the site told me to, and turns out its under origin and has my ME3 game under PC which I registered for xbox 360, or at least i thought i did.

Damn, I had the logs but deleted them. Gautram (Gautaram?) was the one guy, the second one I forgot. Can anyone post if they have logs and sent them to Jesse? I would hate spending another hour in EA chat for nothing again...

I spent about 10 minutes in a chat with EA before they told me they couldn't do it.  In my chat I copy/pasted the BSN link to the merge information and not only the link but part of the page.  I don't think you need to waste an hour in chat, they will tell you how useless they are pretty quickly.

On the other hand Jesse messaged me after an hour or two that he had escalated his problem to Bioware's contact at EA.  I'll let you guys know how fast the merge happens.  I'm only nervous of losing products.

Last thing, on a side note to Bioware.  I have never had so many games tie me to a company that EA purchased besides yourself.  What I mean by that is, Bioware was/is? a sucessful company prior to EA's purchase of the company.  Now after Bioware has been gobbled up it has been a nightmare to sort out accounts.  I'm sure this was all about money, everything in life always is, but is it really worth all this?  On top of the little technical things you can see decisions made on the games that wouldn't have came from Bioware but are coming from their greedy overlords.  Is there some hope in the future that Bioware goes back solo like Bungie?  I miss old Bioware...

BTW, how can I see if one of my accounts is linked to my swtor account? I have the same email-adress for it, but that´s all.

I was corresponding with EAhelp... We exchanged emails and information... then they ceased communication ENTIRELY... and won't respond to anything! I haven't been rude.

I DON'T HAVE SWTOR ON MY ACCOUNT.

Any news if they now accept merging requests?

I really hope they fix this problem, there are so many people out there with multiply accounts! I don't mind giving EA/Origin my money but I want all my games on one account just like Steam.

I mentioned this on another thread but I spoke with an EA adviser today and they would not 'merge' accounts, but moving gamertags etc, they would do. So I am hoping that should solve this problem with the registration of ME3 etc

They closed my ticket after 8 days without doing anything. Jesse said it would get taken care of but no response there either. Jesse said he was working on a house and planning for a wedding so maybe he isn't available at the moment.

Right now I do feel like I'm not getting my money's worth on the support end of things.

Having the same problem and feeling the same frustration. I have 2 Origin accounts with content and I want them consolidated into one. I've been disconnected from live chat and ignored in email help and never got a call back when I chose that option. There's nothing worse than that in customer service as far as I'm concerned. The most helpful person (and by helpful I mean didn't disconnect/ignore me...at first) I got was someone saying she could change one of the 2 email addresses as some kind of "workaround". I asked if I could merge the 2 accounts into a brand new one with a new email address. She said no, that she could only change one account's email address...to one that doesn't have an origin account... so I'd just be moving the content from one account to a brand new random email address...and I'd still have 2 accounts.

Maybe I just need to get some rest, but, I really don't see how that helps me consolidate my accounts...but, maybe it's just me. I asked her to clarify and/or transfer to someone else who could help...haven't heard from her or anyone else since. *sigh*

I hate to call out the OUTSOURCED Customer Service over at EA... but they really ARE meeting all possible stereotypes for not goving a !#%$@$ about my issue!!! I've been lied to, ignored, randomly "disconnected"... It's BS!

...And to think all I would like to do is be able to comment in the ME3 forums as an owner of Bioware's damned product... Why can't I just enter my UPC to register!?!

I just used the link Jesse said and was in the chat for a couple of hours and they have merged my accounts with all my content on one account. Only problem was registering the game again as I had trouble uninstalling mass effect 3 on the other account. They have assured me they have fixed it but I won't know until I have finnished redownloading mass effect 3. Will let you guys know :)

Haven't been able to get the link to work. I've deleted my chat logs. I really don't have any more hours to spend in chat if they prove to be futile =( I'm glad it worked out for you.

All I have is my still open and unresolved ticket:
Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts.

I agree that this has been disappointing so far. It is equally important to me, as it is to you to get it cleared up. Having reviewed your case, I understand that you want to merge the accounts which is not possible,

then she proceeds to go on about changing one email address...but still can't merge the accounts.

I feel like Garrus now. I just want one thing to go right...just once.

Okay after 6 hours worth of chats with EA help I can vouch it it is possible. They have merged both my accounts and even gave me a brand new collector's edition when the old one wouldn't work on the new merged account and fixed all problems. I also Don't own star wars the old republic which could be one of the reasons :)

I too contacted customer service they will not merge my accounts. I do not have a star wars account either. I am really dissapointed because all I have is Dragon Age: Origins on one account. All of my other games are on seprate account. I just want to have Dragon Age: Origins merged in with my other account. Heck, I wish they would just give us the ability to do this. I've never had such an issue with an account for any other game before.

I hope someday this issue gets resolved, I truly dislike logging in to two different accounts for games under the same company.

While I applaud your patience... I don't feel like spending that length of time battling unwilling EAhelp workers to get something fixed that shouldn't have been broken in the first place. It's not my job to chase EA around until they do what Bioware says they can and should... I'm done.

Live chat customer service told me it is not possible to merge accounts. I then e-mailed customer service and they took my details and have yet to e-mail anything back. Frustrating to say the least.
