Agreed. Leaves fans to speculate and draw up amazing art. Also not essential to the story what her face looks like.

What makes it even more funny the anatomy of the hand is wrong,When have we ever seen a Quarian able to hold their hand together like that, they have quite a large gap between their first index and last finger.

you could have even cut out the model's middle finger the achieve that appearance..... but I guess even that was to much to ask...

Figures that upon getting to the ending and being disappointed with how halfassed that was, I come here and find out that the Tali reveal is halfassed as well.

=3 I know right,, all that reaper tech that gets destroyed throwing the galaxy back a few K years. The last thing performed was a 'Tali Face Mock Up' done by Tali herself!

That's an interesting point all in itself.  You would think the only picture Shepard would have had of her would have been taken inside the Captain's quarters on board the Normandy.

I didn't agree, I wanted to see what quarians look like.  Until this uninspired slack job they pulled.  They should have just let it be a mystery now.  It's not that I don't like the picture or design... it's just the complete lack of effort they decided to put into this.  Fan artists clearly cared more about Tali's appearance than Bioware did.

I'm still not as upset as some people are about it.
Sure, using a stock image photoshopped was a bad way to go about it, but I do like the idea of just a picture of tali, rather than trying to make model for her.

People would be pissed either way.

I like the idea of a photoshopped picture to give a more "realistic" face...

But why couldn't they take their own picture and photoshop it well? 

Honestly, it cost them nothing to obtain that picture and it looks like it was photoshopped in a GCSE art class...

What puzzles me further is if they wanted to use an image of a model and edit, why diddn't they just take a freaken picture of Liz Sroka, Tali's voice actor. Atleast that would have made some sense.

....Wow, first Winter Space then this.  I like Tali's face and it matches the description given in the Mass Effect 1 codex. But seriously, exactly copying google image search results is kinda rough.

Sure I like the picture given, even though it's copied, but it just doesn't seem like Tali would look like that.

Liz Stroka = Tali would look like. Obviously after some clever 'Make her alien' photoshoping..of course.

I'm not bothered by it, really. Male Shepard is modeled off of a real person, and Miranda uses Yvonne Strahovski's face, so it's not like using a real person as a model is unfathomable.

This. Miranda is modeled after Yvonne Strahovksi (An actual genetically perfect woman too!) ManShep is modeled after that Dutch guy. Being modeled off a real individual is fine by me...

What bothers me is that outside of the photo she sends they never show her face. In a real scene. Just such a downer.

Just saw Tali's face in my own game... Well...it's not ugly but I really have mixed feelings... Why photoshoped net image? There is a lot of great fanart, Bioware could just use one of them as concept art. Calisto-Lynn on Deviantart did draw one that especially seemed more like quarian. In the game she looks just too human...No skin tint, the "quarian ear" that we could read about in ascension book is just some blur, the fingers are badly cut... seriously was it that much work to make one decent looking photo for one of most popular characters in the series? :|

If she'd looked like a squid it would have at least been interesting. As it is, though, we've already got one species of blue alien space babes. We don't need another.

Quarians are more credible as looking human than the Asari. Since they're Dextro, they fulfill the role of an evolutionary "mirror image."

Asari are just.........I don't know.
