FemShep should've got both Ashley and Tali. I would love to do a playthrough as Renegade FemShep with Ashley as my LI.
Yeah, When players hack through in PC and I don't know how they manage to pull that off.

Don't you get it? EVERYONE has to be a bisexual in the future. It's the only way to be tolerant. If you think someone should only be straight (as Ashley being a bisexual would be totally retarded), you're a caveman bigot around these here parts.

Does anyone else imagine a FemShep/Tali romance and just feel....wrong? Like, she's just not meant to do it? It doesn't feel right.
Of course it doesn't. Neither does Miranda or Ashley, but people want it for some reason. Again, everyone has to be bisexual, apparently.

Hey, it's like that in dragon age 2, and everyone had a kick out of it.
If it feels wrong to you, dont pursue it, simple as that.

Not to sound like a homophobe, but thank god.
there's a fine line between supporting and providing legitimately good content for people and patronizing for the same group of people.
Though I will say that the logic I hear as to why they scrapped Ashley's planned S/S romance is pretty stupid, IMO.

Hmmm... Maybe religious people aren´t so tight assed in the future about such things. I mean, if f.ex Christians didn´t evolve in their belief they would probably still burn people on the stake for just looking at them wrong
Besides, being gay/bisexual doesn´t seem to be such a big issue in the ME universe.

The problem with it is that almost every character then treats you as a potential love interest, rather than a friend. If I'm FemShep, when I talk to Ashley I don't want to go through the "Oh, I didn't mean it like that" phase before being just friends - bisexual characters should be used very, very sparingly. I would have been fine with Kaiden being bi if he was in the first game, but he wasn't, so he shouldn't have been.MaYtriX wrote...

I find it hard to believe that the fundamentals of Christianity changing much in the future.

Surprisingly, no. Almost as surprisingly as Fox News' completely silence about the S/S romances even being in ME3. We all remember their little piece on ME1, yes?
In all seriousness, it was something about Ashley being bisexual wouldn't be "true to her character". It's a non-reason.

I do think that given the limitations of resources (hardware, disk size, and money and time), they put limits on who could do what to who. I would have much preferred if they had been able to have all major LIs be either/or for whichever Shepard, but I think they did it for another reason as well. It means you do have to change Shepards to get all the dialogue and the experiences. I have started male sheps, but I don't like him much-I know people like Meers' acting, but I find it mostly emotionless. In some parts it's ok, but not great, IMO. I might play one a lot if I liked the VA.
I actually think for Ashley it could have been another defining moment for her, something that could show she was never the 2 dimensional person she thought she was. And she really does give femsheps some odd looks in the beginning of ME3. But I'd also like it if Vega were an LI. I hated him at first but I do kind of like him and his conversations with Shepard are kind of touching.
