And when UN proposed a resolution to call fo decriminilization of homosexuality, Vatican said "nope". In the name of religion. For Catholic Church that unfortunately represents over half of Christians, religion is more important then lives of people who did nothing wrong to anyone.Deadpool9 wrote...
There's a whole Wikipedia page devoted to the Uganda example. Whoever designed the bill certainly didn't represent the great majority of Christians. Notice: "Uganda's Catholic Archbishop of Kampala Cyprian Lwanga stated in December 2009 that the bill was unnecessary and 'at odds with the core values" of Christianity.' " There are other examples. So, Baronesa, when you attack Christians for killing others in the name of Jesus, are you making a false generality about all Christians? I know that in the Middle East outstanding rules toward Christians definitely exist. By the way, why are both of your examples regarding Africa? Those are very curious examples... Also, did you know that Rwanda and Uganda don't have an official religion?
The good news is that church hierarchy ain't representative of majority of believers.
So are we getting specific about who's a Christian and who isn't? Many Catholics I know say they aren't Christian and say that they follow the Pope, not the Bible.
Also, have Catholics been going out and killing anyone lately, like homosexuals? I trow not.
