And when UN proposed a resolution to call fo decriminilization of homosexuality, Vatican said "nope". In the name of religion. There's a whole Wikipedia page devoted to the Uganda example. Whoever designed the bill certainly didn't represent the great majority of Christians. Notice: "Uganda's Catholic Archbishop of Kampala Cyprian Lwanga stated in December 2009 that the bill was unnecessary and 'at odds with the core values" of Christianity.' " There are other examples. So, Baronesa, when you attack Christians for killing others in the name of Jesus, are you making a false generality about all Christians? I know that in the Middle East outstanding rules toward Christians definitely exist. By the way, why are both of your examples regarding Africa? Those are very curious examples... Also, did you know that Rwanda and Uganda don't have an official religion?
The good news is that church hierarchy ain't representative of majority of believers.
So are we getting specific about who's a Christian and who isn't? Many Catholics I know say they aren't Christian and say that they follow the Pope, not the Bible.
Also, have Catholics been going out and killing anyone lately, like homosexuals? I trow not.
Oh, it happens. They also throw rocks at a couple's house around here because they have the audacity to go to church on Sundays.

Oh, okay. Let's all bow our heads and pray to Roger Waters, now. Or shall we put on a Pink Floyd CD and spark some wood, instead? Let's do that, and I'll raise you "To everything there is a season."
The thing is is that I have more evidence proving Roger Waters exists than you do God.
I believe it's certainly more viable to worship him.
I just hope he'll bless me with song.

I could also argue that you'd rather be right about God than wrong about him, cosidering what supposed to happen if you don't.

I think the point of the thread was that both MaleShep and FemShep should have a equal number of LI
There's nothing wrong with that. There's something wrong with making everyone a bisexual just for the hell of it, imo.
yea, but nobodies forcing you to try and romance that person, thats what the dialogue wheel was for. If you don't wanna romance that person then pick that dialogue option, Femshep should've have the same amount of LI as MaleShep had

I don't even know why we're arguing with people about this. We're just going to be bombarded with "that's bigotry" and "because it's not fair."
Back to the elephant in the room, many people, particularly non-religious liberals or homosexuals, or both, are very upset about mainstream Christians'/Jews'/Muslims' freedom of religion to express a viewpoint on gay marriage, and Chick-Fil-A. In my view, BOTH sides have sorely messed up how they've approached the issue. And, yes, "Bigot" is the go-to word, lately. Patience that endures is our remedy.

And how exactly did I attack Christians if I may ask?? I only stated that I doubt Christians would be in the future like some of them are today, by using the example of how Christians in the past used to burn people on the stake, but now they don´t.
BTW: You managed to offend people who aren´t Christians in your comment, and the fact that you call me a hypocrite only makes it worse.
Hypocrite is being hypocritical, eh??
Edit: And now you are jumping to conclusions again; many of my friends are Christian, so why shouldn´t I view Christians as people??
How did you attack Christians? I believe you used the words "so tight assed" and "would probably still burn people on the stake." You have a charmingly selective memory, don't you?
You wrote: "Hmmm... Maybe religious people aren´t so tight assed in the future about such things. I mean, if f.ex Christians didn´t evolve in their belief they would probably still burn people on the stake for just looking at them wrong
Besides, being gay/bisexual doesn´t seem to be such a big issue in the ME universe."
I managed to offend people who aren't Christians? Really? I thought I was merely rebuking you and your manipulative, hateful words.
As to your last comment there, simply, LOL. Go review your comments and get back to me.

I wouldn't mind if every crew member was bi. Just like any romance you have the option to not pursue it. And I really cannot see the problem with that. Let me give you an example: Even though I accidently happen to be a hetero male, I am not really into Miranda. Should I worry that she can be romanced? If your answer is "no, because she is a hetero" then you have the wrong mind set.
I'm sick of this argument, because it has nothing to do with anything. Yeah, you're right. I don't have to pursue it, and I certainly won't, but I'm arguing on behalf of the character's integrity (haha, integrity). If someone's personality and morality is the antithesis of bisexuality, why should be they bisexual? Just for the hell of it? To be <3tolerant<3?
It's just like the "don't like it, don't buy it" argument.

Tolerance towards same sex romances? Hmmm. That assumes that there is something special going on with non-hetero characters. And there is nothing special going on. It's just a romance like any other. Beides, I consider the integrity of non-hetero characters on the same level as hetero ones. I cannot see the difference.BringBackNihlus wrote...

I give great credit to the vast majority of homosexuals who conduct themselves with honor and self-control in the face of misguided, harmful conduct by the extreme minority of Christians, if such people are even truly worthy of being called "Christian." More like wolves in sheep's clothing. Such Christians deserve their condemnation, do great harm to non-Christians' views of Christians, and await judgment for their misdeeds.
And to give you some insight into what's going on, let me say that if I were the actual DevilBeast, i.e. Satan, I would definitely do all I can to tempt and corrupt and lead astray Christians to influence them to act in a way to harm everyone's view of Christianity, too. That way there would be fewer true Christians in the future and more fresh souls for hell.
