 "EA Origin*tm* is no longer running, mass effect 3 will now close."

1. I have reinstalled the game twice

2. I have restarted after each install, and restarted each time therror presented itself

3. The game makes no effort whatsoever to connect to origin when the title screen fades in that message fades in with it.

This occurs on Windows 7 Home Premium x64

All Firewalls have been disabled, Antivirus has been disabled. security in full has been disabeled..

This is for the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.

What is the cause of this problem and how is it fixed, it seems to be a common issue, at least on google.

I'm having the exact same issue he is. Same scenario description, too.

So everyone's dead because they're too weak and I'm a Krogan Sentinel still kicking ass and holding my ground at the hacking site and all the sudden I get that stupid "Origin is no longer running. ME3 will now close." and the game shuts down.

Bioware really needs to fix stuff like this.

It's gotten too annoying.

Mass Effect 3 is quite possibly the most botched game launch ever.

I wish I never bought a single game through Origin.  I will never do it again, that's for sure.  Well, the same could be said for EA and BioWare games.  All we can look forward to after buying an EA game, a BioWare game, or a game off Origin is frustration and annoyance.  It's been a month of annoyance using Origin.  I just can't support this cause.


I'm DONE with these companies.

Well, it's similar to my scenario,

It says that Mass Effect 3 cannot connect to server. Okay whatever and I click resume game and I can't because it does not find From Ashes...
