I really hope this is not real. I have not goten to this point in the game but I cant believe that BioWare would do something this cheap. I feel like I am getting the Middle Finger from this company. Everything EA touches turns to ****....

Must resist urge to call developers lazy. Honestly if they were just going to phone it in (and that appears to be the case) I would have preferred they leave quarians a mystery. Really there is nothing wrong with a mystery especially when the alternative is a sub par photoshop.

Honestly I like how she looks, but the revelation that it's a modified real photo is kind of...derp. My bigger wonder is why with how Ashley/Liara's romances were they didn't just choose to, you know, give Tali the same treatment and show her face rendered in game anyway.

You do realize that...
A. Games use stock footage all the time. As do movies. TV. Etc.
B. It would have taken away from development of more important aspects of the game to make a from scratch Tali face.
IMO, the real people who should be ashamed are the ones looking for anyway to smear Bioware.

As far as using a Real Life reference to build Tali's face? No problem with that at all. Also, those who are calling photoshop work a '20 minute job' better be working in the industry - they're wasting their talents if they think they can produce that fast and aren't doing it.
That said. I might play around with the source picture, see if I can't chop up a better representation, that hand is the only thing about the picture that really bothers me.

Other resources... such as Allers? Because I'd rather have actual work be put into Tali than some skank reporter that I don't even remember is on my ship half the time.

Is there a real good reason as to why players who did not romance Tali, yet had a strong bond with her, could not see Tali's face when she reclaimed her homeworld? That would have been the perfect moment!
There are parts in this game that seem to have been handled by lowly interns or something......Tali's face is one of them.

what the hell? this is an outrage! I really feel sorry for all the talimancers. Was so dissapointed when my femShep didn't get to see Talis face, now i see why.
Why put down so much time, energy and money into making that allers/chobot character that nobody asked for, and just ignore Tali, one of the most loyal and fan-liked squadmates.

When Tali removed her mask on Rannoch I was certain that would be the moment we finally got to see her face. But then the camera panned behind her and I got quite puzzled.
Few moments later back on Normandy she tells me of this "gift" which can be found in my quarters, and as it turns out it is this photo OP speaks of.
Which made me furious because all I could see was a bad Photoshop edit of a human, at that point I just had to pause and visit the forums to see if this really was it >.<
Honestly the person which is responsible for this creation should get dragged out of the BioWare studio and shot imho -.-'
I'd be more pleased with never seeing a Quarian face compared to this splice ripoff.

I don't know. Didn't they have concept art for her face in the ME Artbook? Couldn't they have had the artist use one of those and make a picture for the game? Would have been a lot better
