The first day the game comes out and Negative score ranging from zeroes to 2 have outnumbered the positive scores. Reminds me a bit of DA 2. But still, something's making them go nuts. I'm coming to the conclussion that most of these people haven't even played the game.

Heck I haven't even seen my Preorder yet, but somehow people have played enough to form a decent opinion(which only people who have pirated it, and space edition users can provide reviews this early)

My money's on some group sturring trouble because of first day DLC

I read some of those "Reviews" and people were giving it a 0/10 because it implemented same sex romances... Other reviews were giving it a 0/10 simply because they dont have as many choices/options as the other games did.

Whatever they didnt or did get, they give it a 0. Not real reviews. Lots of people hating, and lots of trolls...

I think it's a mix of people who have half finished the game and are unhappy with it and people unhappy with what they have heard but have not yet played. All the trolls are just angry RPG fans that banded together and became really cynical and vindictive. From my point of view, it's perfectly understandable. I wouldn't personally spam the review pages with zeroes, myself, but I can see why people would feel they needed to go that far.

Look, I wouldn't say giving it a 0 or a 1 is fair, but the honest criticisms about it being changed into a full shooter, the hate for the auto-dialogue and so on are fair. Like I said in another post, I wouldn't give it a zero, but I also wouldn't give it a 10.

Can't play with your ME1 Shep...some of those reviews are justified. ME3 can't be treated as a single game installment cause it isn't. It needs to weighed in therms of you previous character carrying over and your decision having an impact on the outcome of ME3.

the game appeared 2 days earlier at torrent sites which explains at they could review it earlier. Most of the low reviews seems to know quite a lot of content the game but nearly 60% are complaining about day 1 dlc

consider theres large amounts of people who decided from a long time ago that they would hate the game regardless of its actual quality

In the end it wouldn't work most people have already preorder the game (true fans). Secondly, I do believe it's the pirate community infesting the internet. Most of these people also believe that life and everything else is for free. Thirdly, gamers from both the EU and Australia are soon up for the fight (8th mars). In the end pirate and troll's opinions doesn't count because they are not paying anyway why should they have a say.

You might as well rename Metacritic to Metabridge for all the trolls that are attracted to it. It doesn't help that its easy to create 4 or 5 Metacritic accounts so you can spam 0s on a game. ME3 is actually making a come back, it was at 2.2 in the early afternoon.

Half correct. It's not that's it's day one DLC, it's that you have to pay for it. A feature most gamers do not welcome with open arms.

Indeed. If one were to review ME3 without playing 1 or 2, the review would be entirely different and probably way more favourable.... or not. Depends if you still took it as a story-based game or not...

It's pretty much the same. X360 was always around 4ish but ps3 and PC are both about 2ish.

Some of us didn't hate DA2. People seem to be hating for the sake of hating.

Havent bothered with metacritic but about 70% through, and DA 2 is an apt analogy. Really disappointed in this game.

A lot of these low scores are because of disagreements with business practices and company focus from BW, not a real response to the quality of the game, and thus they are wrong.

You are supposed to review the game, not that its creators decided to sell a t shirt off it on a color you disliked, just an example but you get the point.

The game has flaws but nothing that justifies a 4 or a 2.

2.2 for PC version.  60% that haven't touched the game. How can you feel ripped off for something you haven't bought I what I wonder.

Metacritics scores are important for the legacy of a game. Haven't bought it or not, this does matter.

people rallying other people on 4chan to give the game low scores even when they have no real basis for them, it happens all the time and its one of the reasons why the site even if I go there from time to time is considered a ****hole.

Definitely. Couldn't imagine coming into ME3 as a new player, I'm almost 10 hours in and while it's good so far, what really puts it over the top are all the references to choices made in the first 2 games.  Could just be nostalgia, but it works.

Didn't love spending over an hour trying to get my Shepard's face back though. Still isn't quite right. :-(

I honestly can't help but facepalm at the people complaining about day 1 dlc. Have they been gaming with blinders on untill now? Day 1 dlcs are pretty much an industry standard at this point, so either people are just now catching on to the trend, or they're just going, "OMG ITS A PROTHEAN!!!!!!1111oneoneoneone" No, the correct responce is, "omg its a 4 eyed Zaeed"

Do people even care about the user score on Metacritic? It's useless.
