 I only had 1 playthrough to import, in it I romanced both liara and Miranda. I chose liara in the beginning of the game, and Miranda came over later on. When I told it to her she broke down pretty hard, but was trying to hide it. I felt SO bad:crying:  Spare yourself a depressing moment and don't cheat on an LI. Don't know what liaras reaction would have been if I chose Miranda over her, but Miranda's reaction almost made me cry. I'm gonna have to start stocking up on Kleenex when playing through this game I can see.

I don't know about Liara/Miranda but eventually Kaiden straight up asked me about Garrus, I told him the truth. There was an option to lie though, you could always give it a shot, lol.

Yeah I did the same except with Ash and Mira. I felt pretty bad breaking up with miranda. It seemed like ashley wouldn't have been as devastated if I said I still wanted to be with Miranda since she wants to take it slow.

Kaidan handled it fairly well when I broke the news to him about Garrus. I'm glad he wasn't a drama llama about it.

Made me realize though, all this time I thought the "cheating consequences" the devs have talked about pertained to characters you romanced in ME2 while having an LI from ME1. Which always confused me since, at least for the VS, the Horizon incident could pretty much be interpreted as a break-up. Now that I see that you can string both parties along in ME3, I'm suspecting that THIS is what they meant by "cheating".

@mrbauxjangles - didn't save before I talk to her. I'm guessing there will be another triangle scene like in me1.

@TeamLexana - I never had the option to lie. Although I wonder how that'd turn out.

@Tbar67 - I know right? When she started crying and then tried to hide it, it made me so sad and guilty. I felt so bad.


@xnoxiousx - I hear Ashley wouldn't have any hard feelings if it's Tali. Don't know if ts true though.


@Alpha - Miranda didn't take it very well. Gonna have to do a me1 to me3 run through with only a Miranda romance just so I won't feel guilty again.

Well I felt no guilt breaking up with Ashley for Miranda, I mean the **** still doesnt trust me after everything I've done and then tries to shoot me. Whereas Miranda is loyal, also Ashley really didnt seem to broken up about it.

I saved right before meeting with Miranda solely so I could see what you're talking about and.. oh gawd. My heart hurts. haha

So, I ended up reloading and saying "Yes" to Miranda. Don't know if that means that Ashley is now locked out. Either way I don't really care considering you can romance Ashley on a new save, which is what I plan on doing next run.

I never saw the point in cheating. I mean, why not create a single Shep in Mass Effect 1 , then import to Mass Effect 2, and so on.

Because my canon Shep was a run-through right after Mass Effect 1 came out.  I had no idea who would be romanceable in 2 or if I would even play 2.  So I romanced Liara.

Then, Mass Effect 2 comes along and my Shep got the cold shoulder from Liara and then found out that Tali was interested.  Tali and Shep became so close it felt only natural to be with her.  That left me with a quandry in Mass Effect 3.

It's easy to set up past Mass Effect saves once you know what happens in the later games, but I had no way of knowing back in the day.

I wish I could have left both ashly and kaiden on Virmire and saved a few more salarians from the STG.

I'm doing my second play through. I said yes to Miranda and no to Liara in my first. This time, I just said yes to both. We'll see what happens.

I romanced Liara in 1 & Jack in 2. With the start of 3, Liara confronted me about Jack & me, I told her I wanted to be with her & she said that she wanted to be with me also. After I rescued the kids Jack was teaching, I met up with Jack in the bar on Citadel & messed around with Jack to see if I could get as much tail without getting busted. Liara later on told me she knows I went back with Jack & we should be friends.

So I did a test & went back to my save before talking to Jack in the bar. I told Jack that a long distance relationship wouldnt of work & Jack shot back, "heck a short distrance relationship wouldn't of worked". LOL. that made me crack up. So I went to see Liara a little later & she said she wants to be friends but I replied I wanted to be more. She said she did too.

So I guess you cant be the guy that saves the universe & Mr, P.I.M.P at the same time. Such a disappointment.

After I finish the game, I going to try different scenario's on not romancing anyone in 1 & 2 to see if I can get as much as I can in 3.
