Is it possible to save Mordin while curing the genophage? I didn't hit the button to use good reputation when he said he was going up the tower, would that have saved him? just curious if i should reload a save earlier in the game to see what happens or if anyone here can tell me and save me the time

If you do hit the paragon interrupt, Shepard basically says "Mordin, don't do this" or along that, and Mordin pretty much says "I need to".

I think Mordin survives if you destroy the cure thing in Mass Effect 2, but Wrex dies? I'm not entirely sure.

It was a good death though. Too bad he never got to run tests on them sea shells.

If you cure it Mordin dies. If you use the fake cure Wrex dies.

Damn! Why must someone die? I like both Wrex and Mordin.

yeah damn it! i just completed it and god it didnt felt good to loose Mordin... was hoping it was possible to save both but doesnt look like it. as Bioware also said, this is an Emo game

Mordin's death was awesome. He is an old man, he had a heroic death regardless of sacrificing himself or being shot by Shepard. I like Mordin even more after this moment. Sad as hell, made me cry...but quite brilliant! yes yes YES!
