What are you going to do or what did you do? I'm torn. If you cure Genophage Mordin dies. If you don't cure it.. and trick the Krogan Wrex dies.

I did it because I feel that if humanity is truly to become the dominant species in the Milky Way, it would be a shame if we eliminated potential rivals. The steps up to the throne are built by the bodies of the conquered.

Wrex will keep them in line. If it's Wreav on the other hand....well I wouldn't trust them.

Yea I can't betray Wrex or let him die. Goodbye Mordin my friend. On this mission Wrex just stopped me and randomly told me he loves me like a brother and I'm the true hero of the Krogans and will be remembered for all of time.

both are real hero, and mordin worth a heroic sacrifice instead of dying old age.

Mordin dying is a logical conclusion for me. At least he would understand that's the atonement of geonophage creation. He'd be happy dying and curing millions of Krogan he has killed, even though it was the best choice he could do at the time. I also wouldn' trust any Krogan aside from Wrex.

Cure it. It's what Mordin wanted, so he did not die in vain.

Mordin doesn't have a whole lot of years left anyway. Let him do something he's always wanted first.

I looked at it this way. Reapers are slaughtering the current armies. Salarians got some good technology but either way Reaper tech is still way beyond.

Krogans on the otherhand are smashtastic. Last time they were breeding, the genophage had to be implemented to stop them from making the salarians and turians their personal b*tches.

Thinking from a Shepard standpoint, I'd rather have an army of smashtastic krogans that re-produce like rabbits to help smash through the reapers then some tech and fleets that the salarians bring to the table. Plus I wanna slap the dalatrass.

I cured the Genophage the first playthrough, even though I knew I could trick Wreav (I hadn't played 1). I got the Genesis comic thingy so now I have Wrex and I don't want to betray the Krogan since I feel bad for them. Besides, Mordin feels bad about the Genophage and wants to cure it, so I let him have his wish, so he can die doing what he wanted, rather than probably going senile and dying in some hospital.

I went in to my last playthrough with the intention of sabotaging the cure and shooting Mordin. Mostly because the prior games I did the "right" thing and cured the genophage.

This was also the first game that didn't begin in ME1(and didn't have Genesis when I started that ME2 game), so Wrex isn't there. Wreav made the decision all the easier, already swearing to start another war. I forgot that in that play I'd destroyed Maelon's data so I actually got to sabotage the cure without murdering a friend. He got to run those tests after all.
