I've heard that it's the best piece of light armor in the game, and I'm currently sitting on 148 gold, so I'm curious where I can buy it. Anyone know?

Wades shop. However, after you do the 2nd set of drake scale armor, you can not longer shop there

Hah, I was in the same dilemma as you guys until I made a mod putting in Felon's Coat in the inventory.

Waht if you offer to pay extra gold for the armor ? Does the other guy still prevent you from buying from the shop ?

If you do the Scale armor quest, you basically can't buy anything from the shop.

If you have the wardens keep DLC, the warden commander's armor is superior because it adds +15% to backstab and looks badass.

It's not superior, it's an alternative if that. Felon's Coat is still more optimal than Warden's armor for most builds. But, since you can't aquire Felon's Coat Warden's armor is the next best thing, keep in mind that extra Backstab damage from gear caps at 50% so you'd have to rearrange your gear in order to no have gear with excessive Backstab percentage boosts.

generally u hit 45% just from having the rose thorn and red jenny's striker, warden commander armor only adds 5% at most, very optional in this case, felon coat is definately the first choice.

3rd choice wld be shadow of the empire. liked its design and codex story.

I fail to see why you would use red jenny's strikers with warden commanders armor? You should go for the 3 set bonus.



Also the felons coat is a low armor defensive suit. With the dex bug, the felons coat offers very little offensive bonus. If anything it is only superior for role playing, but thats about it
