How do you charge your robotic dog?

Okay so I went down into the Shuttle Bay for the first time right after boarding the Normandy after your first trip to the Citadel, and I see my new robotic dog happily jumping around in the background as I'm talking to one of the crewmen (I think his name was Cortez but I didn't really pay much attention.) Anyways I end the conversation and walk over to the dog, have Shepard say 'good dog' to it, and it walks two feet and falls over. So, um, how exactly do I charge it up? Is there special batteries that I need to buy? I can't drag it to an outlet, and there's no indicators that say that I can interact with it more.

If anyone knows the answer I would be very grateful.

No, I am actually serious. It was the robotic dog that came with the collectors edition. I talked to it, it followed me for two feet and then it keeled over with no signs of it getting up. I just kind of wanted to know if it was a glitch or if there was some sort of battery, like at the citadel or something, I needed to buy to charge it back up. But if there is something I'm missing please do tell me.

I couldn't even talk to mine. It just walked around the cargo bay in a huge circle with no interaction at all... QQ

Yeah, I had trouble at first too and then managed to find the right "spot" while the dog was facing me head on. But if your dog still works I would say interacting with it is a bad thing if it ends up dead like mine after two seconds.

I think a better question would be - does this dog do anything at all other than walk around and being called sweet dog?

Yeah, I'm failing to see the point of the robotic dog.  You'd think that they'd at least make the dog more interactive, or have it do more than just walk the shuttle bay and occasionally lay down.  Oh well.

mine walked around for a bit, I called it good dog, it walked some more, then I found it lying on the floor. I dunno what it's doing now. just laying there.

He's okay, that's just his way of powering down.   He "plays sleep"  lol

I wish I could say "useless dog" instead of "good dog" since it does nothing but walk around the shuttle bay.

You never met a dog that does more than just walk around in circles doing nothing else?

Yeah. At the very least I thought the dog would be treated similarly to the dog in DA:O. With some character interaction and little scenes.

Seems like Bioware just created the quickest, crappiest thing they could so that they could advertise it as a CE bonus.

Yeah, the robodog should stuff tennis balls into his mouth and drool all over your shirt.

Oh well if it's just powering down to sleep then I don't have to worry, Thank you. I probably should have figured that that was the case, but past experience with ME2 fish kept me doubtful. Especially when the e-mail you get from the past owner tells you the dog likes 720 volts.

I wanted to at least be able to play fetch or even just pet the guy, Barrels just wanders around wagging his tail. :(

Sorry to say but the dog does nothing. Just walks, lights up and that is it. Your character will talk to it maybe but all in all. Nothing. Just there looking pretty.

He flashes lights, walks around and powers down for sleeps. that's about it. I watched it for 30 minutes to make sure I was wasting my money proper.
