Not the saddest, but yeah, it was sad.

For me it was the end of the Genophage cure. Happy outcome, but the cost...

I didn't realize it was Charr when I found the body (and I didn't remember the Asari's name).

When the poetry started reading out of the recording... :crying:

I found out it was her from before, since she was talking with a customer and then I noticed the store was the "Blue Rose".

What is awesome though, is that so far (I haven't seen Miranda's quest and such), ME2's characters are big mother^%&ing heroes! Image IPB

edit: Damn, need to find out how to spoiler-color.

Thane followed by Mordin scene ranks as my top 2 sad scenes so far. Both extremely well done though.

Mordin without a doubt, maybe what happens with the Geth and Quarians too.

I did chose to not really cute, so it was much worse.

Not a mission so to speak but on my current male Shep game i romanced Liara in ME and Miranda in ME2. Just met Miri on the Citadel and told her i was going back to Liara....

Touching scene and i actually felt extremley guilty, almost reloaded and changed my mind

Oh yeah that got me, I always liked Charr, even in my Renegade playthourghs I tell them to get back together in 2. So hearing that was just sad. And then to top it off my next mission was the Genophage, and that ended badly as well. Image IPB

When it came down to it, choosing between the Quarians, and the Geth, which took me almost 10 minutes of alt-tabbing, searching and wrestling my morals before I finally realized there was no way to save both peacefully regardless of setting everything up right in ME1 and ME2... I had romanced Tali, and wanted to continue the romance. I love everything about Tali, but She was with me on Noveria when I freed the Rachni saying that I wouldn't be responsible for the total genocide of a race. I told Legion to upload the reaper upgrades. Tali called the warmonger admiral and begged him not to attack. He blew her off (really wish I let Raan pull the scout fleet away at that point), which caused Tali to beg Legion not to complete the transmission. I chose to stop Legion.

The following scene tore me up so much since Legion and Tali were 2 of my teammates tied for first along with Thane, Mordin, Grunt (who almost died in mine), and Jack.

For me it was when Mordin died.
Thane dying was also sad but he was dying anyway.

For me it was actually the ending...I won't spoil anything but this is the first game I've played that I shed some tears while playing.

If you had thane as an LI I admit I had seen him die before but that made me do the famous Kahn thing from star trek only I yelled KAI LENG. But seriously I cried during that and a little during the genophage and just before grunt came out of the cave I was bawling. One thing I can say for ME3 it is the first time a video game mad me cry. Also I didn't cry when old yelled died so that should tell you something
