Having to give Ereba Charr's note.:crying:

WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME BIOWARE?

I didn't realize it was Charr when I found the body (and I didn't remember the Asari's name).

When the poetry started reading out of the recording... :crying:

Same happened to me.  I was hugely caught off guard.  I'm pretty sure I stared at the screen in shock for a few minutes straight.  Well played BW.  Definitely one of the saddest moments in game.

This isn't a quest but ambience dialogue. The Turian going off to war and his Asari wife having to say goodbye. They talked about their daughters and how they were going to make enough money to get by. Then, the Turian wants them to go to Sanctuary. My heart sinks. :(

Ereba and Charr did make me sad. Legion's heroic sacrifice so his people could be individuals. Thane's death. Mordin's death. Anderson's.

I actually cried when hearing Char's last poetry, that 'blue rose of Illium' seeing Ereba's reaction to that and knowing they are about to have a daughter. Damn that's painfully sad.

Then reading Thane's prayer with Kolyat that was actually meant for Shepard

Those parts really stings.. T______T

If anyone picked up on it, there is also that dying Quarian on Rannoch...the non combateer....he was Jonah's dad...Jonah lost his mum in ME2....remember her dying message for him on the research ship?

Yup, great moment in ME2.  Poor kid lost both parents.

You can totally save them both. Maybe not on your particular playthrough, but they can both be saved.
Of course not being able to save them both is better story-telling and would back up the catalyst's claim that creators and created cannot coexist, not to mention that it is so much more heart wrenching.
But yeah, in the renegade playthrough I didn't have tali and legion was killed. I hated my renegade Shepard after that, I wanted him dead by then.
Truly one if the most tear jerker moments

When it came down to it, choosing between the Quarians, and the Geth, which took me almost 10 minutes of alt-tabbing, searching and wrestling my morals before I finally realized there was no way to save both peacefully regardless of setting everything up right in ME1 and ME2... I had romanced Tali, and wanted to continue the romance. I love everything about Tali, but She was with me on Noveria when I freed the Rachni saying that I wouldn't be responsible for the total genocide of a race. I told Legion to upload the reaper upgrades. Tali called the warmonger admiral and begged him not to attack. He blew her off (really wish I let Raan pull the scout fleet away at that point), which caused Tali to beg Legion not to complete the transmission. I chose to stop Legion.

The following scene tore me up so much since Legion and Tali were 2 of my teammates tied for first along with Thane, Mordin, Grunt (who almost died in mine), and Jack.

In ME1 couldn't convice Toombs not to commit suicide. That was really harsh.

Yeah, I hear letting arbitrary positions on a dialogue wheel decide for you instead of actually thinking about what you're doing can have that effect.
