Go on 'Order history' and it should be there with your order. It wont be trackable until a few hours later when Dpd has the parcel.

Oh and dpd is a next day delivery service so if its been sent today then you will get it tomorrow.

Mine dispatched yesterday and there's no tracking number yet. As you said dpd might not have the parcel yet.

yours might of been sent by normal post if theres no tracking number. If it got dispatched yesterday and theres a tracking number you would of got it today if it was sent by dpd... though they might of sent it to you by another courier, i know they use a courier called Hermes as they are delivering my Game guide that got dispatched yesterday and i should get sometime today. They use a lot of different courier depending on circumstance

just in case the tracking number will be on the page before you click on order details, if you have clicked on order details then you wont see a tracking number anyways.

edit:found trackin no.  DPD delivery. i expect it to arrive tommorow. awesome:O

My PC CE was "Posted" (it's coming via DPD) around 9:30am today.

Just to clarify for everyone:

- The Dispatch email will not contain a tracking number.
- You have to login to your Play account and go to Order History to see your tracking number.

When you view your Order History, if it has been dispatched via DPD you will see something similar to this:

Dispatched : 08 March 2012
Tracking number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Delivery option: Free Delivery
Delivery estimate: 3-5 working days

Click the Tracking number and it will take you to the DPD tracking page.

Note: Your DPD tracking number will not be active yet, should work just fine later/tomorrow though.

Same as you guys, got the email saying it was dispatched, but said 3-5 days delivery. Then I go on my account and I see a DPD tracking number. Still very frustrating since I very much doubt DPD do same-day delivery.

no they don't, they do next day delivery

The DPD tracking number should say "tracking number" with like a 14 digit number next to it.

Yeah, I have the same Ajwol, no record of my tracking number. I'm assuming (hoping) it will take time for DPD's database to show the thousands of parcels Play have just handed it.

Same here. I hope thats the case too. Still I'm beginning to doubt I'll see that game on the 9th now. Given all the new orders Play took on once GAME cancelled their preorders of the CE.

the 14 digit no for dpd is usually the consignment number. There will be no tracking information until later this evening or even early tomorrow morning if it was dispatched today, that just means dpd hasnt picked it up yet. When its on the system and gone to the depot the computer will log what van will be picking the item up for delivery and estimate an hour window slot of when its due to be delivered tomorrow.

In other words leave it til 5 or 6 pm and then see if you can track it then and if not leave it til morning. Dpd is reliable, i used to work for a company that sells martial arts equipment to people all over the uk and ireland and all we used was Dpd and we had no complaints. Dpd generally only does one pickup a day any time between 3 and 6 pm, they might do more depending but i wouldnt know that time slot.

I would argu the reliable claim i had to sit around today for a next day delivery that never turned up, and it might never have shown up toay either all i know i was give a date and they failed to deliver.

its not even the end of the day yet? dont think these guys stop delievering until the evening so dont worry just yet, and they obviously have a lot to do! that and if its the PC version you'll be blocked from playing it until tomorrow anyways!

so yours was sent yesterday through dpd? Because play.com could of used the service with them where they deliver on a set day (up to 3 days later i think it was) so they could of used that....its used mostly when customers stipulate that they weren't gonna be in on a certain day but it could be used for preorders i guess.

Look i dont work for Dpd i have just used them before back when i was working and it was always next day service unless the delivery address was in ireland or in remote areas where deliveries would take longer.

Mine neither, but I know that DPD are next day couriers, and they delivery to my office between 9am and 10am, so i'm not that worred.... yet

I live in the Lancashire area up North so want to see if I'd get a similar time.

er...no its tomorrow the 9th.

It didnt turn up and i contacted them and it was never gonna turn up even tho they stated the 8th of March i may let them of as they said that they havent even received it from play even tho play said it was Dispatched.


For you information theres a work around for the game lock people have been playing the Digital Deluxe version since monday.

Sure, Farnborough, on the Hampshire/Surrey border.
We usually get 2 DPD vans a day, but the late afternoon one is for pick ups (I think, never had a delivery in the late afternoon from them personally)

dont worry it will, it has to reach the depot and be scanned first to be put on the system
