While I feel like most of their "badass" or "sad" scenes are really badly done, Thane and Mordin's final scenes in before ME3 concluded were very well done.

I cried heavily for Thane and Mordin.
Almost cried for Grunt too until he stumbled out of the cave. And I have
never cried while playing a game before.
Grunt almost give me a heart attack.

And as for sleep? No took the next few days off and did not put the game down until I beat it. Not doing side quests it took 20 hours all together. Yes not healthy but who cares about that.

Mordin's death definitely made me tear up, though I couldn't help but love how he went out singing Gilbert and Sullivan to himself. Thane I didn't tear up for, but I liked when Shepard and his son were reading the Drell prayer together. I was seriously worried I'd killed poor Grunt, and thinking about reloading and not supporting the Rachnai again after all. But I guess he's a true Krogan after all.

Also I can't wait to kick Kai Langs ass, if Thane wasn't so sick he would have whooped that noobs ass.

I will admit I teared up when Mordin died, and full on cried with Thane. There is slightly different dialogue between MShep & FemShep and again if he was romanced. I wanted that assassin by my side til the end.

The fight scene was super well done, but I had really hoped for an option to save him somehow. And I heard about the Kirrahe thing as well, so I'm going to try on my next PT - this one wasn't an import from ME1.

What I liked about it is this: It's was heavily implied that Thane in top form would either kill Kai Leng right there or would make him run for his life. The consequence of this is that the more awesome Kai Leng is, the more awesome Thane become.
.
I really didn't seen him as a top assassin, I mean, I always knew she was it, but after the fight I see him in a all new way.

Mordin's last lines both to Shepard and before he died were perfectly perfect.
Thane just... everything. Wow.

I did do too... Mordin was a favourite of mine, and he went down exactly as I thought... with a song on his lips.^^
Thanes end was expected... but atleast he could be bada** one last time... and praying for Sheps absolution? *sniff*
Luckely I met Jack in the club right after, that took the edge of the scene alittle.^^
Besides, Grunt's "final moments" had me all waterfall too... right before: HELL YEA!^^

And Grunt... I was trying my best not to shout out "Say it man! Say it proud! You... are... Krogan!" during his bada**ery. The wife would have killed me as she was sleeping at the time.

That line made me cry...It was so sad, and him singing with the sad backround music made it even MORE sad:crying:. Redundancy, I know.

Was Thane mourned or was his death mentioned by any of the other players in your game? Someone told me talking to your team after his death brings conversations about it, but all I got was "Oh hey, Kaidan's back!"
I'd like to know this too. I'm not quite there yet, but I've heard a couple rants from friends about how Thane is never mentioned again after his death, even if he was romanced.
