So I have not had the opportunity to play Mass Effect 3 yet, but I have been doing alot of reading & I am hearing mixed responses regarding what is & what is not transfered over from ME2 to ME3. Heres what I have read (Please make corrections where necessary):
- Your decisions made in ME1/ME2 ARE carried over into ME3
- Your paragon/renegade points are NOT carried over into ME3???
- Your items are NOT carried over into ME3???
- Your wealth/resources in ME2 does NOT carry over into ME3???
- Your characters level progress up to level 30 IS carried over into ME3
- Normandy upgrades made in ME2 DO carry over into ME3
- Your powers & training from ME2 ARE carried over into ME3 (This includes DLC powers such as Stasis etc yes)?
Now for some additional questions:
Absolutely none of your items/including items purchased via DLC/real life money carry over? Yes/No
Do the events that occured in purchased DLC even have a impact in ME3? Yes/No?

Everything you said was correct. I dont know about the purchases you made in 2 will carry over to 3. But The DLC events that you've played in 2 do impact in 3. For example my Shepard mentions that autistic kid Archer from Overlord. And Liara speaks about the events of LOTSB, as well as Arrival is mentioned of course.
