This is why I never party with dragons. Talk about a buzzkill.

My first fight with a dragon I ended up as fewmets. What a crappy ending.

lol at all of that. It went pretty well with an all ranged party except for the tank *Alistair* I love being a mage. Never have played a melee in any Forgotten Realms/Bioware RPG's, Casters all the way!

A little off topic, but I don't care that there are a lot of people whining about this game, but every RPG has its flaws like any other game. It could be the fanboism in me, but I happen to like Bioware's work and I think they did a badass job on this game. I will have to say though, that dragon fight was epic, but it was nowhere near the epicness of that first dragon battle in Baldur's Gate 2

Oh, the dragon battles in Baldur's Gate were tough, especially since your buddies didn't regain consciousness if fallen as they do in Dragon Age. Those were the days of casting every buffing spell in your arsenal, switching to your most lethal arrows and summoning till you reach your summon limit. Challenging battles like those were certainly the most fun. Thankfully Dragon Age has quite a few such battles as well, .
