One thing I'm unsure of is whether the squadmates you take for a final assault survive the reaper's attack or not? I haven't actually checked if they were running behind me and after regaining conciousness I don't see their bodies, and I see Liara, whom I took for the mission, leaving Normandy at the end. That part is a bit confusing.

I took liara and garrus, choosed the red ending, both survived.

Still, it's strange that they are not injured at all, if they are not hurt why they didnt follow me to the citadel, or they didnt even do the final charge at all?

Also the wave chase normandy part doesnt make any sense to me, should't normandy orbiting earth?

Yeah, my thoughts exactly - this is the only complain I have about the ending, it just doesn't fit and has no sense..

This is a bug yielding a plothole as its unholy spawn. Need to ask the devs about it, I'm pretty sure the last two squadmates aren't supposed to teleport to the Normandy...

Even tho I enjoyed the ending after other peoples opinons of the last 10mins were a haloisination (typo)
