Well, after hours and hours of finally getting my game to run yesterday, now I have another problem. I have the From Ashes DLC. I've entered my Code and DL'd it. It Shows up on this forum as my registered game content, and in Origin. When I click on the "Downloadable Content" option on the main menu of ME3, it takes me immediately to an Origin screen that says "You Own This". And yet, when the game searches for my DLC, it tells me that it can't authorize it and asks me to log onto the Alliance Network with the account I used to purchase the DLC.
Uh.... what?
Is anyone else having this issue, or better yet, has resolved it and can tell me what to do? Thanks.

Figured it out. In case anyone else has this problem, I fixed it with yet another update to the DLC in Origin.

OK so you were very vague about how you fixed this problem...I have the same one, i even tested it...ran the game online..."yay dlc" turned off my connection without exiting the game..."boo no dlc, which means cant access my save". So my question is, if you turn off your internet can you still access the dlc?

I don't know. But my guess is that you can't unless you first load the game through Origin, let it check your DLC, and then exit out of Origin once the game is already running. I can alt-tab out of my game without any penalty and fool around with other programs, internet, etc. But I'm willing to bet you absolutely cannot load a save game that involves DLC without having that DLC verified via internet connection to EA.
As for my "vague" fix, it was actually pretty specific. You go to "show game details" for ME3 on your Origin "My Games" screen (by right clicking you bring up a list of options, and that's one of them). This shows you what DLC associated with the game is installed. By right click on that particular DLC, you can bring up a menu of options, and looking for updates is one of them. I updated my From Ashes DLC.

sorry didnt mean to be offputting, basically my problem is that my dlc was purchased day one from the origin store and i have the regular ME3 not the collectors and i dont know how origin verifies it. My origin is on, ive logged in, then i use the same account info to log into the alliance network, it says checking for DLC, then it lets me go into my save game no problem. When i turn off my internet and go into origin offline and then launch the game, it tells me that I need to download the "from ashes DLC" the only thing i can guess is causing this problem is that the dlc files are stored on a cloud server away from my computer for whatever reason and when im offline they arent on my computer...im gonna call EA customer service...thanks for your help tho

Origin is broken and Bioware needs to release a launcher that bypasses Origin.

This is my first time using origin and i am definitely feeling that a little bit :/
It just seems stupid that i bought the dlc yet the files arent on my hard drive, so when i go offline...i cant play my mass effect and im pretty far in my game, oh well im waiting for a customer service agent from EA to help, which means they cant help me because they are incompetent but i will give em a chance...i mean last time they told me that i couldnt install my NFSpeed because it wasnt supported on windows...WHAT?!

I'm not upset - I totally feel your pain. It took me 7+ hours to even get my game to run. And then I still couldn't get the DLC to authenticate. Origin is a steaming pile of dog poo. For a game of this caliber from a studio with BioWare's solid reputation to be so fraught with bugs and glitches is almost inexcusable. I don't blame BioWare though - I lay the blame 100% at EA's feet. If you're going to force your customers to use a product they don't want, didn't ask for, and in fact actively loathe - at least make the damned thing work.

true, i have never like EA's tactics but to fair to origin, it is just like steam when that first launched and steam is pretty great now, in time i think origin will be good but if limited to EA games it wont get any better, talking to Customer Service and he is taking forever to read and reply to my 3 sentence issue...

Oh god I can already tell he isnt going to solve my problem, he just asked if i wanted to update my game after i told him that i updated my game and dlc. and now he is just repeating my question as if it were a solution, "you need to connect to the internet to authorize the dlc first"....that was step one man!!
