Zaeed dialogue? Really? We needed more of that?
Yes. Yes we needed that.

As mind blowing as that idea is. It's true.
I can see why they do it ,and it does have it's advantages. But it's not Bioware.

I'm just curious why Bioware thought people would actually enjoy less dialogue and having decisions made for them without us being able to do anything about it? The constant backlash from Dragon Age 2 wasn't enough? Do you people even listen to a word the people that play your games even say? Or is it just bow down and lick EA boot all day long? Seriously, who thought my renegade Shepard should be saluting Hackett? Who thought it was a good idea to take one of the most criticized aspects of Mass Effect 2 and make it standard? Zaeed dialogue? Really? We needed more of that? Who thought it was a good idea to take one of the most criticized aspects of Dragon Age 2 and make it standard? I need to sit there and fight endless waves of npcs during almost every mission?!

Now ask yourself, do I sound like one of those nutjobs on the forums?
You have two guesses and I will give you a hint, the answer starts with 'Y' and ends with 'S'

It is a viable way to create an RPG imo. Geralt from TW2 was predefined, but you still could customize his motivations, ideals and morality. They did it terrifically.
It would be fine if they did this with a new IP. But to do it for the last game where people have already created their Shepards, it's just rewriting the character they created.

My Shepard goes from hanging up on the council to saluting hackett. Makes so much sense and Thank you again Bioware.

Can I get a refund? I'm halfway through the game and I don't even want to finish it. I sit there as waves and waves of npcs flood my screen over and over on every mission I do with my hand to my face asking God why?!
If you have a console version you probably have enough grounds to return the game based on the bug reports.

I agree. I also agree that pulling those sorts of changes in an established trilogy is a bad idea.

Shepard was already pre-defined before ME3 though, so I'm not sure where this criticism is coming from.
Also, why wouldn't Renegade Shepard salute Hackett exactly? He's still part of the military...

This may be true, but DA2's problems were never with its dialogue or its dialogue choices. There was really nothing wrong with DA2's dialogue. I have said dialogue 3... 4 times in this short post...Gibb_Shepard wrote...

Seriously? Do you really think that kind of language will get you anywhere useful?
Seriously, who thought my renegade Shepard should be saluting Hackett?
Oh, I don't know, probably every goddamned person who has a clue on military protocol? Since, you know, Shepard was in fact "reinstated"?

It's not standard, as far as I've seen in many videos of the game. You are pissed, I can tell, but could you please stop spreading lies?
I need to sit there and fight endless waves of npcs during almost every mission?!
OMG ME3 is similar to ME2!!! THE HORROR.

Jesus. Hey, good advice to you, chill out. You're going to get an aneurism if you continue like this.

To a point, but not to the point of ME3. I was able to Roleplay a critical and cautious Shepard in both ME's, but in ME3 he goes on to say how unnecessary a plan is when dealing with the reapers. That is a complete contradiction of my character.
If you can't see where the complaints are comeing from now, then i can't explain it to you in any other way.

I've seen people complaining about renegade Shepard saluteing Hackett several times now. I really just don't get it. You don't become an N7 marine by blatantly not following protocol.
