Ok so I finished ME3, having done all the quests and exploring 100% of the galaxy (don't have dlc)
And I have few thoughts which i'm curious if people agree on/see the same way:

1. exploration. wtf happened?  Not only half of my journal is filed with **** filler quests i overheared on citadel, but to get those done you only need to probe stuff. Am i the only one who misses random things like catching an anomaly, landing on a planet and doing a mini mission?

2. Citadel - huh? I loved the openness of citadel in previous games. you could use transit or run on foot around, hell i even loved the elevator music and news. Citadel was a relatively open space and now? You could walk around if you chose, and overhear ads, news, people talking etc.
Also Citadel is the only place you can hang out at now. Theres no omega anymore, no tuchanka, no illium.... anyone else misses those? I mean it is supposed to be an rpg game as well so cutting the content were you can choose to be or not - doesnt feel right.

3. I like exploration in this game. but despite the promises it was more of a pain in the ass than previously, the reaper alertness thing is more of a niuance than a fun feature. Also not being to upgrade ship;s fuel capacitiy was a little sad.

4. big choices vs small choices.  Ok so obviously i still need to replay the game to see some changes, but it feels like big choices from ME2 did not really affect anything much in me3? (do correct me if im worng) - for example collector base. Personally i passed if over to cerb, my boyfriend destroyed it (we played me3 simultaneously) - and apart from few war assets and couple of lines of different dialogue - not much seemed to change. destroy salarian data on the cure however, and Eve is screwed. Dont get me wrong, small choices making big difference is cool, but big choices making small difference - not so much.

5. Only 6 possible squad mates? :( I suppose I hoped for some new cool mission that would get you to recruit someone new (without buying the dlc).

I think that's all i got for now.
What are your thoughts? What bothered you?

1. I don't miss it myself - I can still read planet descriptions, and by not having to track anomalies and doing mini games they have streamlined the exploration. I hated both Mako from ME1 and random scanning from ME2.
2. Citadel in ME2 was more open but at the same time it was really boring. Here you get access only to parts of it but they are all so much more interesting. I do miss other planets though.
3. I actually found exploration in ME3 better than in ME2 although reapers indeed quickly turned into an annoyance - avoiding them was just so easy I could scan pretty much every planet to 100% without getting caught.
4. What are other big choices? I honestly can't think of any right now. ok, saving the council in ME1
5. Only a few squad mates, but they are more distinct than in ME2 where I ended up using same 3 characters depending on my class.

What has bothered me? Nothing comes to mind (other then the final assault and the fate of your squad but there is a different topic about it.. or two..)

by big choices i suppose i meant mainly collector base, saving council and rachni. Would have imagined those will have bit more impact on the story.

Yea, the fact that the rachni are still alive ether way and that the council acts the same ether way just with slightly different scrips annoyed me, hell the way i in-visioned it was based on your ME1-ME2 choices you would have ether an advantage or a disadvantage in ME3, nothing major changes, just the little things, as the "stargazer" said at the end, the details change but the story is the same.

My only realy bother was the fact that you did not see what happened to every 1 closure is all I wanted just for maybe a narator to sum up while showing what happened to every 1 after the end would of been the cherry on top 2 this incredible game

the six squadmate bugged me. It wasn't so much that there were only six (after all, the first game only had six) but in the first game each one represented one of the classes. In this game we have three tech characters (four if you have kaidan), one biotic (unless you have the dlc) and one soldier (two if you have ash) where's the vanguard love?

My main story/gameplay problem, aside from ending,  was autodialogue. But in most cases it was good written, so i can live with that, though it haven't save me from several "WTF" moments.
I like Citadel. I like that you can meet squadmates there. I don't quite understand the purpose of Citadel Missions (aside from WA). I mean, they all will die anyway. Exploration was fun, though i had to low reaper's speed a little. They were arriving to fast.
I miss landing missions as well.
Squadmates are all right, though i understand why someone wants more. MOAR! :)
My main tech/gameplay problems are:
Journal is pain in the ass.
Can't skip some cutscenes (when you replay some missions)
Can't save on Earth (omg, why?)
Can't drink at bar on the Normandy (what?)
FemShep animation

Bah, these complains pale comparing with ending crap...
