Also, you can't buy them until after Palaven. Remember in ME2 when you could even change your armor before Freedom's Progress?

Then they paint it blue. What was wrong with gold? Made it seem regal.

All I'm going to say is that the Alliance are jerks. You lend them a ship and the first thing they do is start ripping it apart, messing up your decorations, and they steal your stuff.

Man, the contractors were halfway done installing the hot tub by the time the alliance got a hold of it. Dudes totally ripped it out. Didn't even ask.
I want my god damn jets Hackett and until I get them I'm not lifting a finger to stop the reapers.

ah well....rental suits it is I suppose!
yeah...alliance could use a decorator. geez...it feels so dark and clammy on the updated normandy. cerburus at least made it look cozy!
but...I did find my space hamster...running loose in the engineering hold. it is back in its little box in sheps cabin.
until the end...when he prob dies with the rest of us.
and 25k credits for a fish feeder? heck..for that price...I think I will join the krogan from ME2, and just eat the fish...lol!
what a kick in the daddy bags!

you are not convicted, so no one is a criminal here (my shep sure as hell is a warm place ain't a criminal, he did what he had to and that's it)
but this here is another - very good - reason for me to screw the alliance...firstly they take MY ship (i mean, cerberus may have build it, but they did that for ME and i took it as severance pay, so: MY SHIP), then they muck it up (sorry, but the new Normandy SR-2 with all those supposed upgrades (war room - unnecessary, the old com room could have been used like the war room is, the extra airlocks inside the ship - useless IMHO because during combat anyone should wear a space suit anyway IMHO, the armory down on the hangardeck?...sorry, but i hate working in a garage, so i liked the old layout, the new elevator looks crappy...(got some more but is stop here)) and even have the audacity to steal my stuff (not only my guns, but my ship-modells are all over the place, my space-hammster ist gone and my fishtank is empty, too)...sorry, folks this means war (it's a pity that i can't send them a one way ticket to hell, because then the experience of playing the game would suffer more then it already has with all the automatic dialogue, the bad screw up endings etc....)
argh, sometimes i wish for some alone time with the developers (no i would not beat them...maybe yell at them until my voice is overused...
greetings LAX
ps: to answer the question: you just have to, as stupid as that is IMHO

But she kept your fish that cost her money to feed and then gives them back to you for free? Damn that woman needs to learn economics.
Edit: or may be how she paid for feeding the fish.

It wasn't about the money, she just wanted to get me back for turning her down, sold them for 1credit each.

(Spoilers)
Kelly Chambers will appear in Mass Effect 3, provided she survived the events of Mass Effect 2.[1]
Shepard re-encounters Kelly on the Citadel. She politely declines returning to the Normandy, having recurring nightmares of her abductions by the Collectors. She insists on staying to help refugees.
After the Cerberus raid on the Citadel, Kelly is nowhere to be found. It can be overheard either in the refugee camp or between engineers Donnelly and Daniels (if pardoned from the Spectre terminal) that Cerberus found her, asked her name, and shot her where she stood.
However, this fate can be avoided if upon reuniting with Kelly, Shepard persuades her to "change her identity". She will disappear, but after the Cerberus raid on the Citadel, she can be found again in the Dock area of the Citadel thanking Shepard and detailing how close Cerberus came to lining her up with the others and shooting her, and she's relieved that they didn't find her since she'd changed her name. After this second meeting with Kelly, Kelly will send Shepard an e-mail revealing that she coincidentally met up with former friends of hers who also changed their identity, and Shepard will receive the "Ex-Cerberus Engineers" War Asset.
I guess she's dead in my game now....
That...really...sucks....
