Oh....

(Spoilers)

Kelly Chambers will appear in Mass Effect 3, provided she survived the events of Mass Effect 2.[1]
Shepard re-encounters Kelly on the Citadel. She politely declines returning to the Normandy, having recurring nightmares of her abductions by the Collectors. She insists on staying to help refugees.

After the Cerberus raid on the Citadel, Kelly is nowhere to be found. It can be overheard either in the refugee camp or between engineers Donnelly and Daniels (if pardoned from the Spectre terminal) that Cerberus found her, asked her name, and shot her where she stood.

However, this fate can be avoided if upon reuniting with Kelly, Shepard persuades her to "change her identity". She will disappear, but after the Cerberus raid on the Citadel, she can be found again in the Dock area of the Citadel thanking Shepard and detailing how close Cerberus came to lining her up with the others and shooting her, and she's relieved that they didn't find her since she'd changed her name. After this second meeting with Kelly, Kelly will send Shepard an e-mail revealing that she coincidentally met up with former friends of hers who also changed their identity, and Shepard will receive the "Ex-Cerberus Engineers" War Asset.

I guess she's dead in my game now....

That...really...sucks....

Damn. I never got an option to tell her to change her name so she's dead in mine too.

Oh and the Dr. Pepper promo items, I didn't find them in the field for free but after the Cerebus attack, I found 2 of them at stores on the Citadel and pretty cheap too. At least it wasn't a price gouge like my old Blood Dragon armor so that armor is still in the store. But I have 2 of them --  Sentry and Recon now. I always like the style of Sentry because it didn't cover the face fully and get one of those Tali incidents where she recognized Shep even though she couldn't see Shep's face in ME2. lol

Bioware did this to facilitate these so called "new players" that they think they're going to be getting for the final installment.

What I don't like is having to waste in-game credits, or finding these armor pieces laying all over the place in the field. That's not right, I paid for it already. Give me my armors and make these new gamers you want so badly do the easter egg hunting for them.

I just wish they would put the lights back in the Normandy. Or at least give me a flashlight.

I know, the Normandy's interiors are an ugly mess.   Junky and out of order.

well - yes it is still my ship, they impounded it, ok, but that does not give them the right to muck around with it IMHO (meaning: if you impound someones car as a cop you can't screw the car over, can you? - no, because the owner might want it BACK)

A police officer is bound by civil law. A military tribunal is not. Yes, the Alliance military can seize a vessel and never give it back.

IIRC, Shepard (you) gave up the ship when he/she was captured, IE handed over the pink slip to the car. Sadly, that includes all contents of the armory and personal lockers. Making that ship/car "street legal" also costs money. Guess where they got that from? :P

Why are you guys complaining? Just having those armors available in ME3 is already a bonus. You should be thanking Bioware.

I'm more annoyed by the fact that all the in-game armor (not DLC) has differenct names. The Aegis Vest is now called something like...Rahkona Fabrication Thingymabob. It's confusing.
