You can't register ME1 on these forums as they started after it was released

I have the steam version but Origin Help just provided me with a key to activate Bring Down the Sky. I told the agent I was talking to that I bought the game a long time ago and gave him my CD Key (available in Steam) and he provided me an activation code.

I have mass effect 1 that I bought from you yesterday and would like to add the sky addon. When I try to put my key in that you gave me, it tells me it is not valid. Can you help me and so I can register the game?
