Stuck in cockpit and can't move

Behind Joker, in the cockpit, there's two red and white labels/stickers on the floor. If you stand on the one on the starboard side, you can't move off of it - you're just stuck until you load a game in which you are not standing on that spot.

I'm not surprised that this is happening again. This would have had to be fixed before launch, since a patch would have to re-texture GBs of data to fix. So, like with ME2, learn to abuse F5 (I remap to F6) fairly often.

Anyways FYI I kept reloading the save.. while on the loading screen i was spamming all my move buttons... w/a/s/d.... after 3rd time it worked.. I speculate there is a split second right as the game loads where u can move shepard before she/he gets stuck again.. GL

After the game royally corrupting an autosave and getting stuck I am going to be F5'ing a lot more now.

sigh.
i was hoping the save/load would give me half a second to step off, like last time, but i think, i'm well and truly in / on the vertex that needs fixing.

Its wierd never really read these forums while playing ME2. After comming here and replaying the game, loads of glitches appeared, lol. I had played ME2 through about 9 or 10 times and never came across one,
Thankfully, only two glitches so far in ME3, this and shader problems.

And the 'spacebar does everything' glitch. No way that can be a design choice. It's far too infuriating.
"I want you to sprint back away from the flanking and rushing enemies, Shepard. NOT stick to that wall in plain view of their rifles!"
"I want you to revive your multiplayer partner, soldier. NOT stick to the cover right next to him!"

lol, I love the Space Bar Dance.
Roll to the left...
Roll to the right...
Stick to the wall a lichen on a rock...
...Topped off with a barrel-roll-vault over some shrubbery
As for the cockpit issue, I find if I just stand there I start to 'jitter' and eventually 'jitter' off of the humongous dust ball that, I Commander Shepard, saviour of the galaxy TWICE OVER, cannot step over.<_<

On the Raw tab at the top there is a header for Position. Change the XYZ on the right side of the window to;
X: 2.310025
Y: 4051.911
Z: 81.4108
This will put you on the same level of the ship at the entrance to the elevator. Much easier than continual quicksaves and quickloads or wriggling for half hour.

You can also get out of this spot using the Gibs MassEffect3 save editor.

Worked perfectly, and save me from losing 7 hours on a reload. Thanks!!

it's always good to save before you enter the cockpit (just to be safe)

That's what I do. I have only had to restart once because of it but I have been hung up on it a few times.
