Many people, myself included loved every part of the game, up until the ending sequences.
I think that's the message many are trying to get across

There isn't one, and none of the choises you make mean anythinga t the end.

Don't be worried bud, the vast majority of the game is spectacular. It's just the very end (last ~5-10 minutes) that most people don't like.stysiaq wrote...
Oh my. Why I entered these forums again. Now I know I'll probably be disappointed with the ending.
and I love the game being about 5h into it.

My Shepard was just forced to stand silent, no interrupt, no dialogue wheel. Then the other character says your silence gives me my answer.
I was just sitting there like no the ???? you don't have my answer.
And I'm still mad that only 2/11 of my ME2 saves were available to import, I have no femsheps I can import and the maleshep, my canon shep I played the way I would in RL isn't there either.

One thing I'm seeing occassionally is the notion the game was rushed or the dev team didn't try as hard somehow. It's disheartening to see that because I can tell you the development team worked *incredibly* hard on the game, including a ton of personal sacrifice (hours worked, holidays skipped etc). This was a labor of love for the team and we're all very proud of what has been accomplished. There are bugs that got through (face import. we know) but they are being investigated for fixing etc.
I don't doubt they worked hard but the reality of the matter is fairly blunt. This game was not some one off game. It was the conclusion of an EPIC series. I would bet that the firestorm of critism and anger would never have happend if you had simply stuck to what the fans wanted. They wanted a tweaked ME2 with choices that actually meant something and ending that justified all the time they spent playing the game (not to mention the money they shelled out). I personally have purchased every game and every DLC you have made. No more. I didn't invest my time in playing the ME series to talk to some lame ai kid and be forced to destroy every choice I had made for 3 games.
I applaud the workers as it likely was not their fault, but the management/writers: Shame on you! You lost a fan.

They'll get a lot more DLC sales if they do.LulzParty wrote...
Will they fix the ending? They already got your money. and if their next game looks good, the disappointed fans will probably still buy it.

Agreed. Everything but the ending was excellent. Some of Biowares best work imo

It is BioWare's best work if we talk about quality, but the story was lacking and the ending basically destroyed everything Karpyshyn has created. I can write a better ending to this and I'm not a professional writer.

- locations and mission objectives are unclear how to proceed. i have few side quests were i have no idea what to do next.
I haven't had any problems
with ME3 so far, except this.
I had a bunch of missions from people on the Citadel.
Now, a major event happened (not spoiling it) but those missions turned gray
and I cannot complete them.
I am unsure of how fast I need to do missions or
when they expire. I would have liked to do ALL of any side quests I get but now
I can't. They screwed the pooch on this one big time!!
About all the other problems people have been
talking about, gaming has changed HUGE in the last 10 years. To make a game
this size and scope it enormous! Programming, VO's, ECT takes a lot of time and
hard work. I am not in the "game creating" industry but I know how
big of an undertaking making a game like this is. ESPCIALLY a game that saves
all your choices from the first 2 games and seeing how that plays out.
Do I wish some parts where better? SURE but am I
having fun still? HELL YES!

Meh, I disagree. I enjoyed the story personally. The ending ****s everything up, but the story was solid in my eyes.
The whole Crucible thing is as cliche as it gets, the rest is good, but it all revolves around the Crucible, which is lame. In the end, that same Crucible is one of the reasons for the greatest failure in gaming history.

Using ME series to compare, you guys have become Cerberus and we are those you experiment on. The ME3 DLCs may become the Shepard we need and desire.

I didn't mind the idea of the Crucible as it was given to us throughout basically the entire game (i.e. a weapon) for one reason: it was introduced early, and a lot of the plot revolves around it. At least it wasn't something Shepard that suddenly appears that is the answer to all of our prayers.Amikae wrote...

But then, the direction that took it towards the end... it might as well have been Shepard walking on some random planet and tripping over a Reaper killswitch. In fact, I would prefer that inanity, it would be better than the garbage ending we got.
(Note: I love the rest of the game/series to death.)

After 6 hours of game play, sadly I can say I'm a little depressed. I mean, it's an okay game still, but lacks the feeling the last two installments have. Not being to see my Shepards face again from ME1 in ME3 kinda took away the "emotional" attachment. (I don't even know who you are!!) Auto-Dialog. I think Ashley was right about Cerberus controlling Shepard, I barely have input in what he says! Even the neutral option is gone, when a selection of dialog actually pops up. Is it me or is Liara ugly now? Characters look different now. Can't tell of its for better or worse yet. Combat is fun, as a big player of all three Gears of War I see a slight resemblance but not how they say. Anyway, just my opinion.
Liara's ugly now?
Did you just FORGET what Benezia looked like?
TRUTH: WOMEN LOOK LIKE THEIR MOTHERS AS THEY GET OLDER.
Enjoy that face.

The Asari live long lives. Liara is very young and she changed into a zombie for 2 years. Where is the logic in that, Moonshadow_Dark? If that's your point I wonder how would she look like when she get older...
