Last night I got to play for about an hour and a half.  My squadmates were doing an abysmal job.  In ME2, they knew how to apply various ammo types, used their abilities freely and although I could specify where they should stand, they knew to get behind cover for the most part.  Most importantly, they took an active part in combat, providing plenty of suppressive fire which is crucial for me as an infiltrator.

In ME3 however, my squadmates would often simply stand there, follow me, stand in the open during combat, not use their abilities much or at all, stay squatting over grenades thrown by enemy forces and simply stay still leaving me to do ALL the work.

How's your squad AI?

The squad AI is crap, really.

Played Mass Effect 2 on PC and PS3 and *surprise surprise* the squad AI was mutch better in both games.
In both games the squad members had no problem to follow you or where intelligent enough to go into cover.

But in ME3 (i´m playing it on the PC) you can´t focus on your enemies because every time i don´t look for my squad mates they are doing something very dumb and die -.-
Even if i tell them to go into cover manually as i did in ME2, in ME3 they just keep "jumping around" and getting killed -.-
Sometimes they dont climb above obstacles too .. i hate the AI.

last night EDI decided to do a full on suicide attack by proceeding WAY WAY ahead of me for no apparent reason... to the point that luckily she didn't die.. however she did hit the range limit and loop back to my position only to do it all over again.

I have found the location markers are a bit buggy in ME3, dont always go where youre pointing for no good reason.

Noticed this a lot in the 'go find the primarch' mission.

ME1... Squad members had down syndrone... ME2 they worked much better... ME3 they seem to have re-Caught Downsyndrone.
