so i downloaded a patch for a free sniper rifle from alienware and when i restarted mass effect all my squadmates and myself where reset to level 1. Is this a bug or what? also wheneever i download any dlc or anything it makes me run the release day check again maybe that has something to do with it.
just got reset to level 1

also there is a padlock image on some of my squad ability trees where it wont let me level that ability up

Same problem here, dude. I started in 30's and just destroyed everything I saw, until after Mars, when I got bumped back to level 1. Then my squadmates lost their powers and started at level 1 again. I've managed to claw my way back to level 16, but it's still a pain in the ass.

I also have this problem. Shepard was around level 40 when i decided to download the DLC when i got back on only Shepard had lost of all his levels and cash.

i reloaded a savegame. i got about 2-3 savegames back then then there was my old shepi again.

Damn, happened again. Fortunately I'd made a manual save beforehand, so I was able to reload and avoid any further crap.
Then my war assets bulletin glitched up and stated that I was at 0% readiness.
This is almost as bad as what they did to my face.

From what I experienced, it's like due to unlocking a squad power when you don't already have one when imported. It happened to me twice, but after I chose a bonus power it was fine.

I kind of wish they had a disclaimer saying that if you don't have separate save files every hour apart you risk losing all your levels...

I've had the % readiness as ell. Happened right after Thessia. Dont know if I actually have 0% or if it just is saying that.
