So morinth was in the game... In a datapad, and as a "named" banshee that you kill near the end. Nobody says anything about it whatsoever.  /cry

That's quite depressing. I made a play-through in ME2 with Morinth instead of Samara just to try and see what sort of role she would play. I appreciate you letting us know.

Yeah, I don't even mind the end fact that she got turned into a Banshee. I'm more disappointed with the lack of dialogue involving her fate.

Damn, that sucks. I would have liked to see her survive, or at the very least be a more sentient banshee leading the forces and such.

Why would anyone say anything? No one knew who she was except for Shep if you killed Samara.

The morinth thing sort of pisses me off, but whatever. So I got bored and read most of the spoilers pertaining old squad mates. Most of them can end up dead OR do end up dead or just "permanent closure".

I suppose that's what happens with a game like Mass Effect, impossible to have depth with any character beyond one title.

Kasumi knew and Kelly suspected something was up.

And Grunt knew. And Liara talked about her on the AY mission in ME3.

Honestly the game itself is just a bit overrated for it's interconnectedness.

Many of the things in ME1/ME2 DON'T matter OR they end up to be fruitless results in ME 3.

Like I saved the collector base, but apparently I didn't?

Wow. Like wow. One of the biggest decisiosn in ME2 and it doesn't carry on?
Not surprised Morinth's character was given the crap stick if the above is completely ignored.

The problem is that most people couldn't side with Morinth anyways, since they probably lacked enough paragon or renegade points to make such a decision.

Why would anyone mourn her, she was for the most part a monster.

...... really?

Some of us play space-dictators. I personally just felt like killing Samara and wondered if Morinth could murder my group from the inside or something, plus Samara was pretty stiff on the whole sex thing y'know.

Space dictators aside, Morinth was pretty much unknown by most people.

Space dictators aside and Morinth aside.

....the game completely ignored the fact that I saved the Collector base. After that, my expectations for the entire game nose dived.

Sounds like a glitch dude.  The required war Assets for control vs destroy are supposed to be different so it would have to take that into account.

I found Morinth an interesting character back in ME2 personally. I think you folks are looking at her too black/white, you guys can't deal with gray apparently.

Yeah, it was a little too side-lined.
Besides, how would Shepard even recognize her as a Banshee? At least I couldn't but maybe I was too occupied fighting things.^^

There is also a Phantom with Jack's name and voice at the Cerberus base. Tho only if you didn't complete the Grissoms Academy quest in time.

That made me quite furious that they didn't even take the time to program something more interesting and cutscene-relevant. Jack wasn't a worthless NPC afterall.

Cool, didn't know that. Question is: Does this mean we could somehow save Morinth as we saved Jack?
