I'm now doing a new game plus with the same Shepard and for some reason, I am having a hard time choosing this time. Ugh - what have I done to myself? I've started a whole new FShep in ME1 that is Kaidan exclusive so I won't have to make this choice.

And I'll happily kick Ashley aside for Miranda if I ever import that Shep into ME3.
Even though Jack and Miranda got bent over a barrel in ME3, I MUCH prefer them and their weak romances because of how amazing they were in ME2.

I mean, I remember trying to start a new ME2 playthrough and saying "right, i'll do a different romance this time around - mabye Jack". This pretty much went right out of the window the moment I came across Tali again on Freedom's Progress. Cannot resist.

For me it's the opposite - I struggle to romance anyone other then Tali.

Hahaha, I have yet to do a Tali romance 'cause I always end up going with Jack.
I DO like Tali as a character though. Just not as much as most folks seem to.
I really should give that a shot if I ever start the ME trilogy over from scratch.

Mabye you should. After all, it's "totally worth it."
Likewise for Jack. I'm not gonna lie, she terrified me in ME2 =P However, seeing how she completely changed in ME3 I may have to give it a go.

The romances with the ME1 characters were fine.AntonioA9011 wrote...
Sorry, I attempted to continue romances, but the game forced me to romance Kaidan again with my FemShep. Not a lot of thought was put into the romances in ME3, IMHO. They were just so...weak. Oh, well.

nope, Miranda all the way
A far, far deeper character than the others.
Try and you'll see,

Sadly, that romance scene was not in my game.

Second playthrough I romanced Tali. And now I find it hard to not romance her in any playthrough... even though she was left out of ME1 LIs. ):

Thankfully I did not, because then I was able to hook up with Tali with no reprecussions. No broken hearts, no unfaithfulness. Just me and my Quarian lady.
Then the endings to ME3 came and wrecked all of that. Thanks Bioware!

2nd Playthrough: Left Ashley for Tali. Ashley actually grew on me so this decision was a bit harder. Maybe next time.

In my second Garrusmance, I went on Kaidan's date first and got that dreadful conversation. Really tough. Won't be doing that again.
I find I have to do loyal playthroughs to continue my first romance. I guess you can technically do a Thane romance and not have it affect your ME1 romance (much), but that just seems way too depressing.

When it came to the discussion wether choosing Ash or Liara I still had to think about 10 minutes to eventually choose Liara.
In all my other dozen playthroughs I've always chosen for Ash.
Never thought it would be that difficult.
I just put my hand before me eyes, setting the mouse on option Liara and hit the spacebar.
And felt sorry afterwards....man...
this game is intense
