I thought I would have a difficult time choosing between Ash and Tali but after Ash's b***** attitude towards me in the beginning of ME3 is had no problem staying with Tali.

I romanced Ashley in ME1, but the way she treated me in ME2 and THEN in ME3, I started a new playthrough of ME1 to romance Liara, cause she, overall, was a true friend to me (and not pointing a gun at me helped as well).

Speaking as someone who has played ME3 twice, once with Miranda as my LI and once with Liara, I actually vastly preferred how Miranda's was handled in spite of the minimal screen time she has.

Liara's is written so bad it's ridiculous. She'll tell you you haven't been together in years even if you got back together 6 months ago in LotSB, she'll repeatedly call you "just friends" and it's like the entire romance exists in a bubble. I thought it was pretty much the worse romance in a single game in the series.

Actually, that isn´t a writer´s mistake, it´s a bug. You can even find posts here on this forum on how to fix it so she recognizes the LotSB romance.
