Besides the normal vendor gear some vendors have a unique item to sell like the Felons coat from wade's in Denerim, and they are always available in store no matter what ur current lvl is.

I wolud like to know if vendors upgrade there normal stock if u pass a certain point in game and revisit them, or other unique items will become available only after : recruiting 1 ally, 2 allies , sacred ashes quest line.. etc. Or are the unique items u see on them first time.. the only unique itesm they will ever sell.

As example: i hate the random encounter with a dwarf vendor who's stock was useless to after first time i saw him.. but still i met him 6 times in total.. and showing me the same stock everytime , although i was already on my way to redcliff defense agianst blight.. he still wanted to sell me dwarfish crap armor.

any help on this ?
