Hi All:  Still playing ME3 and haven't reach the ending yet but hearing there 3 ending that are almost the same when couldn't there be one really bad ending -Reapers win the war - Capture Shepard and make him/her into Reaper Agent.    The really good ending - Reapers defeat, Shepard marry his LI.

Amen to that. The bad ending is a good option to have, but almost everyone on here is saying that they want a happy ending where they marry their love interest and end up living happily ever after.

I agree. These endings could certainly fit if maybe you were renegade, or if you didn't have your War Assets up very much, but the best ending = Normandy crew dies+ Anticlimactic ending....thats just... very disappointing.

It's probably jus me, but know what kind of high note ending id be satisfied with?
Of of these two (this expresses my canon end)

1 Shepard and crew stranded try to make contact with other allies, which fails they then decide to see what their new surroundings are like as a crew. As Garrus would say: Just like old times.

2 or in the Shepard lives ending cut to a scene with a makeshift hospital bed of Sheaprd and his/ her LI sitting next to them. In their hands are Shepards service tags. The LI places them in Shepards hand and after a brief moment he/ she squeezes. * cut to black*

Heck have all of them helping in the relief effort of repairing earth as a crew. Millions still dead but Shep and crew are going to do what they can.

I like the second one, but I'd like to see a wedding as well. It would show that even after all the war and fighting, that there is still hope for the future.

Exactly thats the whole big picture HOPE .Some people (including me) want to see that in spite of  the lives lost, and sacrifices made,  the deaths of allies and good friends. We want it to end on a hopeful note, it can still be sad but it can also end with the idea of rebuilding what was lost, mourning those who fought so millions could live galaxy wide.

Al ot was lost and many died, but in the end HOPE survives.

Exactly. I thought the whole point of the trilogy was hope, and yet it all ends on such a downer.

I didn't mind the 3 endings they had, though it doesn't really show me the result of that. I have no idea what happened to anyone in the galaxy except those on the Normandy, and it's apparently always the same thing regardless of the ending you choose.

I can understand people wanting the "ride off into the sunset" happy ending, but it doesn't terribly upset me that it's not there. I will admit that a part of me was thinking my Shepard would just be able to go off and live in peace with Tali on Rannoch after it was all over, though.

People generally seem to just want closure and a ride off into the sunset ending. It can't be that hard for Bioware to make a couple of endings.

It seems the "Make Shepard die!" faction won out a year or so ago. There was a large surge of "Eff Shepard, I want everyone dead!" posters on BSN, and it seems the writers chose to cater to them.

There really is a> no reason for the relays to blow up (the space magic signal could've been modulated to take effect over a longer period of time, thus not stressing the relays beyond the breaking point) b> no in character reason for Joker to run away and c> no reason for Shepard to need to sacrifice himself/herself for any of the endings.

Even in the Control and Synthesis endings, there wouldn't be a reason that Shepard's body couldn't be recreated and Shepard "downloads" back into it. That might take time, but then again, it's clearly possible, given the infinite supply of Keepers on the Citadel.
