I'm only a few hours into the game but both the turian husband at the docking bay and the amputee in the hospital made me tear up. Stupid Reapers and their damned war.
Favorite ambient dialog thus far?

Well I cant really say what my favorite dialog is with out spoiling the game for you. But I will say this much I sure miss all the dialog of ME1.

Spoilers are allowed here, and I already know all of the major events of the game and their outcomes. Spoilers don't actually "spoil" me.

Do conversations squadmates have with each other on board the Normandy count?
If so I liked near the end, when I went to go see if Garrus was up to his old calibration nonsense, and found him and Tali making out. (well, as much as someone wearing a mask and someone without lips CAN make out anyhow)
Their excuses were funny.

That doctor at the hub-point mid-way through Priority: Earth that is on the radio with some female solider instructing her on how to save her friends life. She does everything she can, but her friend still dies and then she commits suicide.
10/10. Would listen to again.

The two doctors on the Citadel who decide to volunteer round the clock because they can't sleep...probably because it's uncomfortably familiar.

I actually quite liked the ambient dialog from the two soldiers that guard the entrance to the old tech room on the Normandy. I forget their names, they are two female soldiers, and I just love their convos.
