7% of people, according to one poll are satisfied with the endings. Several people have posted on the fan reveiws thread they dont like the endings. Thread after thread and comment after comment complain about the endings. Still, negative posts about the endings are deleted with no other explanation than spam? After 100's of dollars or more spent on the franchise, years of work and loyalty, and emotional attachments to all of the characters and the storyline itself, dont you think we deserve SOMETHING? ANYTHING?! These endings for sure could be POSSIBLE endings. Options to less than par gameplay or renegade actions, but what about people like me? I say the take back earth trailer, and I got pissed. I wanted to kick some reaper ass. I wanted to save earth, save my crew, save... the people Ive grown to love. I even understand some sacrifices MUST be made, and death will happen in a war of this scale. Seriously though, the Normandy STRANDED? Your crew doomed? The universe doomed (mass relays gone)? Shepard would have found another way... he wouldnt have let the mass relays go, he wouldnt have stranded his crew and doomed them to starvation and slow deaths. Then again, Shepard wouldn't have told us we had a choice, and force us into the same three different colored scenarios either. At least not my paragon Shep...

Thanks for a great franchise and great game, but no thanks for the dissapointment at the end of it all.
*post rant edit*
I know I sound like a jerk, but Ive grown to love the game, franchise and characters. Bioware has created something beautiful here and maybe made a mistake, thinking fans would take the endings differently. I do have faith they care about the fans and expect a response from the eventually about all this, I suppose im just in stage 2. Regardless fans show them what we want. http://social.biowar...06/polls/28989/

That seems to be the general response, so hopefully Bioware fixes it with downloadable content.

I think the person that wrote the endings to ME3 were one of those made for SyFy movie writers.

I love the game, I just am so resentful of the endings that i don't want to finish. Somehow in my head I still think that my loved ones will not be stranded and be given this vague open ending that I was promised would NOT happen. I wish they would just at least explain what the ending means. If they would just say the normandy gets picked up or whatever then thats fine.

I don't understand how if EDI was killed by destroy joker would be happy at all.

vague ending ftl. have joker and the rest of the crew looking "relatively happy" - so generic. no explanation for the crew being back on normandy even if you brought two to the battle with you.

i'm loving the game so far (10 hours in) but everytime I finish a mission I remember the ending and it ruins it for me. so yeah- the rest of the game is great - the end just isn't.

This is true also. Its hard to enjoy the game while I think about what its all for (Answer- nothing). Maybe its my fault for spoiling it for myself. If I would have been smart enough to know that all these leaks were true I would have cancelled my pre-order and waited to see if they changed the endings. Unfortunatley I'm just too optomistic.

I think and hope that Bioware will see how many fans are disappointed, and then decide to make either downloadable content that takes place after the game and gives us a proper ending, or just downloadable endings or something like that. Most of us just want a happy, walk into the sunset ending with our love interest.

Who isn't?

I swear, they MAJORLY ****ed up with those 3 endings. Like seriously? Everything you did in ME1 &ME2 doesn't count anyways, seeing that everything gets decided by different colored "space magic".

EXACTLY. I think with all they money we spent, along with the time and emotional investment we deserve better. Not to mention this whole thing with Tali's face. It seems they just got lazy....

It's just crazy that the very best ending possible still has Shepard on Earth away from his crew and love interest. That's not happy, it's depressing.

Tis so sad. Image IPB I can't affect nay interest in doing the 2nd round with a diferent LI (for the dialogues) because I know I will never complete the final mission.

Having a love interest at all is pointless since the ending separates them anyway.

So much potential too. The game is everything I hoped it would be until the end...

Exactly what I was thinking. Everything I hoped for happened and then boom, very unsatisfying ending. :( I don't understand how they can be happy with it.

they said there would be no post campaign DLCs, meaning none that takes place after the ending, but I figure they lied about so many things already what is one more lie?

I was just about to post that link. Lol. Also pass it along to other fans of Mass Effect on sites like IGN, GameSpot, maybe even Facebook.

I have not yet seen the endings in context, and I'll refrain from putting out my judgement on them until then.

I will however say that I do not like what I'm hearing, and it is a very unsatisfying "what was it all for" kind of end.

That's not hard choices and consequence, that's hard consequences regardless of choice.

The game, thus far is stellar, I would hate for it to be ruined by a poor ending.

Quarians and Geth finally fixing their problems only to be stranded on earth, Krogans free of the Genophage, only to be stranded on earth, countless beings stranded far from the home they worked hard to save. If this is how it ends, shame on the writers for offering only burned earth.

Well bethesda fixed the ending to fallout 3, maybe bioware will fix the endings for us?

However I have a feel that EA's PR will tell them to not admit anything is wrong with the game since that is usually what large media companies think will help. When game companies admit they did something the fans did not like, that is really what apeases fans. At least when they promise to fix the things fans don't like.

Just fix the bogs and the endings. Or at least give us an official explanation of the endings so we know what happened. They promised us a full closure, that is not full closure.
