Is it? Or is it just choppy writing? How does it go from swapping kisses in the beginning to the game to "I want to be more than friends" in the middle of it?

Yeah the Liara romance was a little strange. I was pretty annoyed how, after romancing her in ME1, getting back together in ME2 with the shadow broker DLC, and then the warm beginning of ME3, you somehow don't actually get a romance scene till almost the end of the game. I mean, we've been together for years and have discussed having little blue babies and stuff, so what gives? Throughout the whole game she's like "Hello Shepard". What the F***?

I'm a bit confused about the romance as well. During import it said I did not romance anyone during ME2 but made no mention of the shadow broker DLC
Then when I talked to her on the normandy the first time she said it had been years since we had been together or something along those lines, but it couldn't have been if I had rekindled our romance at the end of the DLC. So my question is during everyones import did it mention the Broker DLC and Im bugged or is it just bad timeline writing and they are just ignored the Broker DLC content with the romance?

When I loaded my Shepard it up the summary said: Romanced Liara Before ME2. Did not romance anyone in ME2. I guess it just ignores the Broker DLC altogether where romance is concerned.

It remembers shadow broker in my game, and like I said there was romance stuff in the beginning, but then it was like "let's be more than friends" stuff. I'm curious, is it possible to start a romance with liara or Ashley/Kaiden in me3 if you didn't in me2?

I have the same problem with the game not remembering the shadow broker DLC it kind of irks me that I went through all that trouble of rescuing her friend and making her the shadow broker and then she says she got an army to do it or something and that her friend died WHAT THE F!

"Hey guys! Let's totally NOT test our save game importing system thoroughly, I'm sure our long time fans will be delighted! It's not like this is one of the most important features in our franchise!"

i kinda have the same beef. Liara comes off as disinterested at times when i wanna try and get "reacquainted" with her (romanced me1...loyal me2...hook up LotSB). From most of the conversations from her...she is hardcore (rather her primary focus) is the gathering of intel on the super weapon. Liara can be "very driven" when it comes to certain things. it makes sense to me...just stinks as a big big Liara fan.... then again...i always thought a sex scene in a action-packed movie didnt make sense and usually slowed down the movie.
