what does the default story line set to

example
does rachni queen live
does  wrex live
do i save council or let them die

I think the default ME1 decisions are as sparse and renegade as possible at every turn:

Virmire survivor is your opposite gender
Rachni queen dies
Wrex dies
Council dies
No active romances
No completed side quests
Garrus is renegade aligned

Some might call it a cynical ploy to punish peple who didn't buy ME1, but that'd just be suspicious of me.

However, Mass Effect Genesis allows you to do a whistlestop buzz through the ME1 plot, selecting the 6 big decisions for a ME2 import (your love interest, the fate of the Rachni Queen, Wrex, and the Council, the Virmire survivor and Anderson/Udina for human councillor).
